We called about a wiring issue in our microwave door. The tech came and said it wasn't fixable, recommended a $650+ door replacement. We asked him to try to fix it, so he did. Charged us $178 for a bit of solder and some electrical tape. With nothing left to lost, my completely untrained husband took it apart, watched some YouTube videos, and fixed it with some supplies he bought on Amazon.
