We are a group of heritage home owners needing to do some work on our wooden facia boards and soffits. RJ answered an email and came out to check out the site. He was very personable and responsive. We chated over Whatsapp back and forth. He requested a deposit up front to retain their services. We sent the money in January of 2021. By march 2021, no progress or work was produced or shown. I kept asking and RJ kept saying that it will be a few more days. May 2021, was still told a few more days. Nothing by September 2021 so I requested a refund. I'm writing this review in August 2022, and I have not received any refund nor any communications from RJ or the parent company. My emails have now bounced back and their website is not longer found.

Outstanding! Everything was amazing! The communication with Joseph was stellar! We started chatting about our living room and tall stairwell over Homestars, went back and forth with pictures and videos, he sent me his quote, and that was all that was needed! They were thorough, stuck to the quote, and were done the job in six hours (something that would take us two days!) Our role was the provide him with the paint colour name, and move the furniture away from the walls. They covered all the floors and furniture with drop clothes and plastic sheets. For the price, it beat all other quotes we received! We will be hiring them again in the future for sure without hesitation! Thank you!!!

There was a putrid sewage-like smell that was coming from our upstairs bathroom, but nowhere else in the home. I called a few other companies on Homestars, but DrainCom was the only one able to send a technician the same afternoon when I was also available. Alex was awesome and punctual! He listened to all the symptoms and listed out the most probably causes, and noted the ones that are least invasive. Turns out, the culprit was a faulty seal that connects the toilet to the drain pipe. The seal was cracked and allowed some exhaust air to come out into the bathroom. Alex was finished in under 30 minutes... emptying the toilet bowl, removing it, changing the bowl ring, and reinstalling the toilet... all while keeping the bathroom tidy and clean. While repairing, he informed me about how a cracked bowl ring can occur and the mostly likely reasons for some failing sooner than others. Knowledge bonus! Thank you Alex!
