All the bedrooms on our second floor had painted stucco ceilings. The stucco looked tired and we finally decided to get rid of it. Soni and his team were great. Soni came by within a few days of our initial contact to assess the work and gave us a quote on the spot. It was in line with what we imagined, so agreed to the work. We were quoted a three-day turnaround, but they worked late into the second day and got it done in two. The mess was minimal (you'll need to dust after and we vacuumed all the carpets afterward), but if we'd done it ourselves, it would have taken much longer and been much messier. Would highly recommend Master of Ceilings to anyone wanted to get rid of their stucco ceilings.

Anthony and his team did a complete gut and reno of our basement at the end of 2020. They added a new bathroom, removed our old wood burning fireplace and replaced with gas, put in a bar area, and made the one window larger. They were amazing to work with and we've spent all our time in it since it was completed. They listened to what we wanted and offered great suggestions. We were so happy with the work, we had them renovate our main floor, too. They replaced all the flooring, painted and removed the popcorn ceiling in our living room, and did all the electrical and drywall in our kitchen. Anthony, Chris, Nick, Alex, Shawn, and the rest of the crew were great to work with.

We went to Blinds to Go in November to get shutters for a basement window. The service was fine and the staff pleasant and we received our quote and were good to go. We paid a deposit of $161 (50%) and were told they'd be out to measure. They came to measure and he told us the shutters we chose wouldn't work because it was a recessed window. Why we weren't asked this when we booked, I don't know. There was a mix up and our deposit wasn't refunded, so we called and they told us they're not reimbursing us $50 for the measurements! This is not mentioned in the quote anywhere. I'm incredibly annoyed and disappointed as we've used them to go and had fine service, which is why I didn't give a lower rating. Be warned that if, for some reason, they can't install for you, they'll rip you off $50 for coming out. Won't be using this business again.

After finally deciding to bite the bullet and get new carpeting, we contacted Mark at Victorious and met with him a few days after the initial email. He was always very quick to respond to emails and answer questions, which I really appreciated. He came to the house and we were immediately comfortable with him. He looked at the area we wanted to carpet, took measurements, looked at what we currently had, and then we discussed our options. He brought three or four options with him (there might have been more that we didn't get to) and we went with a nylon plush carpet. We have two dogs, so berber wasn't an option for us (we currently had berber and it wasn't wearing well). We waited about three weeks to get the carpet installed, and they did the work yesterday. They arrived on time and all ready to go. I have nothing but good things to say about the workmanship and the company. They did all of the work in one day, and my husband said they were great. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area spotless. We're really happy with the final product and are so glad we finally did it.

We were very excited to choose a lovely accent tile for our shower at Centura. The clerk we dealt with was going to call the company to see if we could order only a certain number and get back to us. We were told they could, so asked to put the order through. My husband called them twice to double-check and both times they said the order went in. Flash forward two weeks and we get a call that we never gave them a credit card number so the order hadn't been put through (our reno was to begin in 2 weeks). So, we ordered right away. Flash forward another two weeks. Turns out they can't get the accent tile as they're completely out of stock and unavailable for 6 weeks. So now we have to choose a tile that is available today for our accent so it's ready for the start of the reno tomorrow because they took 4 bloody weeks to tell us they couldn't even get the tile. And if I can't find a tile I like, my bathroom reno will now be in limbo as it's the only shower in the house. To say I'm mad is an understatement. I will never order tile from this company again.

We had all 10 windows and a patio door replaced in our home between 2009-2010. Overall, we were very happy with the product and service we received. However, we have one window in an upstairs bedroom that is letting in a fair bit of cold air. We noticed it last year, but didn't realize it was the window until this year. We called Lifestyle to see if they could take a look at it, and have had no response from them. We've called about 6 times since the beginning of December 2016, and have received one message where they told us this likely wasn't covered under warranty and that they couldn't find us in their system. I don't care that the warranty may have passed, but I'm surprised they have no record of the work they did on our house--I have all of the receipts. I simply want someone to come look at the window and fix it. We've called them back 3 times since that message and have had no response. Lifestyle promotes their long warranty on their products, but we're extremely disappointed in the response we've received on maintenance. When we were shopping for windows, we certainly had no problem getting a call back from them. Although we're happy with the product and work overall--we were even thinking of getting them to redo our siding before this--I would hesitate to work with them again when they won't follow-up with their customers. UPDATE: Lifestyle ended up contacting us, thanks to this review. They did find us in their system, and they came to look at our window. Turns out there was a defect. They thought it might correct itself over last winter, but it didn't. They replaced the window this year, free of charge. I appreciate them following through, even though it did take a long time to happen.
