Mike and his crew showed up in the critical last few hours of a massive maple tree about to fall on our house. Several hours prior to their arrival the fire dept. taped off the property as we were not allowed to enter, and claimed that the tree would fall on the house. The damage would be structurally catastrophic. The towering tree was split at the base and leaning towards the house. We called many tree removal businesses for several hours, and no one was available (many not willing to deal with the situation) after the storm that ripped through the GTA Powell Tree Service showed up at night after nine service jobs because they understood the priority of the matter, and tension strapped the split base. Went up the tree to cut down branches and reduce the load by thousands of pounds, and ensure that it would no longer fall on the house, but in the least damage prone yard areashould another severe storm hit before the morning hours. They saved our house and cabled every fallen branch ensuring no damage occurred. They arrived early in the morning to finish the removal of the tree. Cleaned up the entire premises and were absolutely professional and skilled, with safety being a priority. They saved us from imminent house and belongings destruction, and a major disruption to our lives for months to come. We will be using them always for reliable tree services. We couldnt be more grateful.

Excellent workmanship. The fence looks great and is very sturdy. Lots of compliments from the neighbourhood. They built the fence as per my outline, including a double door gate for a vehicle, and another swinging gate to enter the backyard. In total nearly 64 feet of fence. There is also a third gate for the side of the house to get to the backyard. Includes keys for the locks. They installed the posts and fence with accuracy, and even improvised a section to bend diagonally next to a diagonally growing mature tree. No other business would go the extra mile to make it look even better and I didn't expect that. The finials are beautiful and they were able to meet my budget with options on this project -- I went with the Genesis galvalume black fence. I know metal fences are much more expensive than wood. I preferred to go the metal route as I replaced a rotting treated wood fence section that was damaged by a fallen tree. I will add pictures as soon as the area inside has the concrete pad. Iryna and the entire crew were great. Iryna followed up with me and asked if I was happy with the look. Great communication. I will reach out to them in the future for possibly a balcony railing.

Will never buy from this builder *EVER* again. Will recommend against it to anyone I meet. What a nightmare it was to wait for a condo to be built with years of delays. The entire project is shoddy and used the cheapest labour and construction materials. The paint that I paid extra for was spelled out as latex in the contract however it was a powder based paint. The finishes were not fulfilled (frameless mirror closet doors however the top frame was metal -- bent out of shape as well instead of mirrors like in the showroom for upgrades). Everything delivered was poor. The paneling on the outside rattles and are misaligned. The carpeting was laid over cement in the hallways, and the cement was not smooth. Parking ramp is so narrow that two vehicles simultaneously passing in both directions are a huge danger. I had to offload this unit as I could not live in it for even weeks. Pre-occupancy was a year before title transfer. Noisy elevators in this building too that run 24/7 with mostly careless tenants. Sales promised it would be mostly owned units. Sales also promised a beam would not run down the waterfront view from the unit. Well it did in the worst spot obstructing the view and light from the living room. What a mistake it was to purchase this unit preconstruction. Empire is following in the footsteps of most other builders with reputation dwindling.

Chose Aurora Marble and Granite regarding a custom cut stone slab for a coffee table. I was recommended to use quartz for its properties. Very nice selection of patterns, very good craftsmanship -- smooth cut, oval with edge design detailing. Aurora Marble and Granite surpassed my expectations. They communicated with me and did not ignore or forget about my inquiry. I wish I contacted Bob first as the competition never followed up with me after initial communication.

Big thanks to Martin and Slavo of truck 13 for the fast and efficient move. They did a fantastic job of getting everything out of the building and into the house. No damage observed. It was a labourious job getting large items out of a low rise building with no elevator from the 3rd floor. I recommend this business and will use them again in the future.

I was browsing light fixtures on the Internet and came across Ante Modern Furniture & Home Decor. I decided to travel a long way to see the products in-store because their selection looked great. As I pulled up to the store in Davisville I immediately spotted the beautiful fixtures that caught my eye on the Web site. I had a great experience here, and the owner was very helpful. He showed me the lights on a dimmer to see the quality of the products they carry. I purchased two light fixtures and am very happy with the quality of products and service. I will be looking here for a few more items that are especially well suited for a condo.
