Problem with no hot water in shower. Called Valentin who not only advised me that Riobel offer a lifetime warranty of my existing part and thus replaced at no cost, but he would pick it up for me at no extra cost. He fixed the problem the same day I called. Excellent, professional service, knowledgeable of the product and a pleasant helpful personality. I give him 10 stars and would highly reccomend.

This company quoted to supply and install chain link fencing. The owner, took the time to detail the work to be done and to provide a detailed estimate. I considered him to be very knowledgeable, professional and fair minded.We ended up installing a wooden fence for aesthetics, but, would have used this company otherwise.
Kitchen Renovation - supplier of appliances
Steve Miller assisted me in my selection of new appliances for the kitchen renovation. It was such a pleasure to have a skilled salesman, who KNOWS his products. So many times, when I am purchasing a product , I ask a question only to have the salesman read from a promotional brochure and cannot add anyhting else to it. Thi I could do myself. A knowledgeable sales person is invaluable.
I had a wooden retaining wall built, which replaced an old field stone retaining wall. This company quoted the best price. I thoroughly researched what work would be done and ascertained that all quotes I had received were basically perfoming the same work. The owner did the job when he said he would do it, performed the work on a timely basis, cleaned up after the messy job and spoke with neighbours to advise them of the work being done to minimize any neighbourly problems. The finished product was excellent. This year I will use this company to landscape my front lawn.
The design and execution of the design were poorly managed, such that I was required to dedicate at least one day per week to correcting errors. I would strongly advise that with any renovation one should hire somone to oversee the work being done. My 2 month old kitchen requires extensive remodelling to correct a cabinet design, wherein the fridge will not open fully, and the fridge door is hitting the granite counter top, thus causing a structural weakness in the expensive counter top. I also spent $3,000 on heated floors, which were not laid properly. Fortunately, this company is managed through Sears, who are sending a representative to check out my concernns. Also with Sears, you don't pay until the job is ended and you are satisfied. I like Sears policy and will work towards a reasonable resolution. Overall however, one needs a manager to manage the kitchen /contractor personnel.
Ms Dixon has used her legal skills to the fullest to belittle what is a fabulous job. Sears attended to Ms. Dixon's home and concluded the job was completely satisfactory. We would like to thank Ms.Dixon for refering her best friend Mrs. Mulveney to us. May I suggest that the owner of Home Stars.ca contact myself to remove this rubbish from their website as they would no doubt not want to tarnish our good name.
Tiling home vestibule and downstairs powder room.
Stan, the owner, has been in the tiling business for a couple of decades. He knows his work and does a professional job at laying tiles. I recently had a general contractor lay an expensive ceramic, heated floor in my renovated kitchen, which was poorly executed, resulting in an uneven floor, which is markedly noticeable. Stan laid tiles in the vestibule and powder room of my house, which result was excellent. When I compare the two tiling jobs, the difference is very noticeable.
