A contractor looked at the worn, water-stained old wooden floors in the third floor apartment at our house and told us to rip them up and replace them. NewRidge gave us a reasonable quote, came promptly, cleaned and treated the old wood, worked quickly and efficiently and left us with gleaming floors that are a pleasure to look at. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Our garage door was too narrow, the door wouldn't shut properly and the remote control apparatus didn't work. Chris re-framed the opening to permit a wider door, installed a new door and new mechanisms so that it opens and closes easily and installed a proper remote control system. And it was all done within a few hours! The finished job looks great and Chris was very pleasant to work with. Highest recommendation.

Mr Rooter sent out a technician almost immediately, averting what could have been a catastrophe and turning it into a relatively minor problem. The technician was quick, efficent and pleasant to deal with. Great company.

This is a long-overdue review. The power outage during the awful winter we've just gone through left us without electricity for 3 days. When the power came back on, it appeared that our boiler had frozen. I called our usual heating service who clearly panicked at the thought of doing anything and told us to call a crisis service. I did that and was informed that since the pipes hadn't burst, we didn't have a crisis. They recommended another heating service who told us they would have to replace the boiler for several thousand dollars. Desperate at that point, we agreed but, despite the prospect of a hefty charge, the service dropped off the radar. I finally called Dave who sized up the situation calmly, replaced a pump and turned on the boiler. Since then, the system has worked better than ever. Dave was very responsive, very available, very pleasant and very reasonable. We will certainly use Quickfast again.
