We hired Canlik four years ago to reface our cupboards and replace the countertop. We were impressed with them then, so when we recently decided to add a pantry and cupboards we hired them again. Everything was completed in one day and with the same professionalism and attention to detail we have become accustomed to receiving from them.

We hired Oborne to do a total gut of our main floor (ceilings, floors, walls) and to upgrade our knob and tube wiring throughout the house. It was an extensive reno that lasted two months. We received several quotes and ultimately went with Oborne after meeting with John. His detailed estimates and upfront attitude regarding what we could and couldn't (or shouldn't) do was what impressed us. Our foreman, Jim, has now spoiled us for future contractors. It will be hard to top Jim's attention to detail, professionalism and knowledge. He is a great guy, very easy to talk to and be around. Any concerns or questions we had were dealt with or answered honestly and respectfully. We would enthusiastically recommend Oborne, especially to those wary of contractors.

We hired Dial One to clean our ducts this past fall and were very impressed with their service. Wil was very professional, personable and pointed out things that needed our attention in the future. There was no up-selling or extras. He was thorough and got the job done in a timely manner. We will definitely use them in the future.

This was our first time hiring New Canadian Drain and Plumbing and we were very satisfied with our experience. I called on a Saturday and someone was at our house in less than hour. There was no automatic charge for the visit and he let us know how much it would be before any work was performed. Problem was rectified in less than an hour. Would definitely recommend.

This review is a couple years late but we're still dealing with the poor workmanship so I'm finally getting around to writing this. We hired Hoerner to install a dishwasher. It involved running new tubing to the water pipes in what should've been a routine procedure. We didn't notice until a few months later but the tubing was positioned in such a way that a bend had started to form in it preventing the water from draining. Much like if you bend a garden hose to stop the flow of water. We were able to straighten it out a bit and didn't have any more problems for another few months. Every once in a while we'd have to go down and straighten it as best we could. As is life, we just never got around to contacting Hoerner within the warranty period. I did call to see if they'd perhaps stand behind their work even after the warranty period but I never received a call back so I took that as a 'no'. Now we have to replace the tubing and try to install it properly as it's kinked so much that we are now unable to straighten it out.
