After a horrific experience with Beaudry Roofing (who took our deposit and ran), I was skeptical about hiring another roofing company, and was not going to pay another deposit. Max was sympathetic to the situation, waived the deposit, and was there within a few days to do the job. Communication was thorough and timely, and the crew was fantastic - friendly, fast, professional and meticulous. They did a very thorough cleanup, and even removed an old awning for us that we had struggled to take down (thank you Chase!!). The new roof looks amazing. A great experience. Highly recommend.

Located in the centre of China Town (Dundas north of Spadina) in Toronto, Tap Phong has THE greatest selection of kitchen ware (including industrial kitchen ware) at the cheapest prices in town. This place is large, always busy and a bit difficult to navigate due to the narrow aisles, but the selection and prices make it worth these minor inconveniences. The shelves are packed from floor to cieling with an unbelievable selection of food processors, blenders, strainers, regular and industrial sized pots, pans and storage bins, knives, bamboo steamers, chinese tea sets - not to mention a few rather obscure items - their functions unknown to me. If you like this kind of stuff, spending a few hours here is easy. If superior customer service is important to you, this may not be your kind of shopping experience, but if you love to feed your cooking or baking obsession, this is the place!

A fabulous store located on Queen street West. They sell beautiful high-end, imported fabrics for home design (drapery, upholstery, pillows). Their consultants are very knowledgable and provide fantastic suggestions and recommendations so you can turn your idea into a reality.

Rented a van from Home Depot near Burl Oak south of QEW. Service was fast and efficient and extremely friendly. The employee (Manfred) was very knowledgeable in other DIY projects - he gave me tips on how to lay an interlocking brick patio as well as how to install a french drain. Bravo to Home Depot for employing such friendly knowledgeable staff. I'll be back!!

Our furnace stopped working this winter - we called Aire One - they were here in no time, diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly, and were very professional about it. I felt they wanted to understand and fix the problem vs. make a quick buck. Would recommend these people!

A family business, and these people really know their stuff. They actually care about what you want and ask all the right questions to gain an understanding of exactly what you are looking for, vs. pushing product on you. They have and adhere to high standards throughout the entire process - excellent quality customer service, high quality product, professional installation, and they even follow up once installed to ensure you are happy. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.
