Our project was completed over a two-week period in July. I was impressed how they coordinated having the various teams come out to excavate, frame, lay foundation etc. The team worked very hard under hot, humid conditions to move the project to completion on time. Very happy with the concrete project managed by Paula and Altino for us in early July. They stuck to the committed timeline, even coming out when the weather was not the best. Very much appreciated. The team worked extremely hard to get the job done and checked with us if we were happy with the job. When they arrived early they respected bylaw times by doing quiet planning/prep work. They cleaned up at the end to our satisfaction. We had plain brushed white concrete laid and it was a job well done! Many compliments from friends, family and neighbors. Project: to run new wiring in finished ceiling; install subpanel; fix/install new receptacles. Derol and team did a great job troubleshooting problems and quickly developing solutions with less than expected damage. Team worked diligently to complete work within agreed time and were always pleasant. I found owner Dan to be professional and honest. Pricing was fair for the complexity of the project. I chose Fortress initially because I saw they do small jobs. I decided to add roofing repairs to the one front window I needed installed. I felt confident going with them after I met Steve M. He was quiet, self-assured and took his time to explain what they will be doing. We had scheduling issues due to weather but managed to agree to a plan to do the work over two days. On installation day I felt confident I hired the right people. They came with a take charge attitude, got in, got the job done, cleaned up and left. Steve passed by at various times to oversee the installations. I'm impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism of the staff and their warranty. Great job by Andrew. Very happy with the results. Will definitely hire again and recommend to others. Quote for crown/canopy thinning to allow for more sunlight, cut branches back from house and neighbour's. Also cut back from house of a small linden tree. Great clean up of site with help of family. Andrew is professional, efficient and gets the job done fast. He checked if everything was done to my satisfaction and when I suggested two light additional cut backs, he was happy to do.
