We knew it was time to address the insulation in our home. The attic insulation was over 20 years old and the floor above the cantilever in our master bedroom was always cold in winter, even with carpet. Ideal was one of two contractors we requested estimates from and, like others, we too were impressed with the thoroughness of their inspection and the attention paid to detail, all of which was reflected in the quote. I was also impressed with their voluntary inclusion of copies of all the contractor related documentation - WCB, ins, business license, etc. We had the work done in August with the attic insulation replaced (R50) and spray insulation for the cantilever. The install experience was good - professional, courteous, timely and tidy. I’ve been holding off on the review until the weather could truly test the quality of the work and these last 2 weeks have certainly tested the insulation. I’m delighted to say that our home temperature has held steady for extended periods and the floor over the cantilever is no longer cold, even with bare feet. Ideal did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them.
