You can see that this company does great work according to the reviews but I want to give a review on the AFTER service... This tells a lot about the company. About 8 months after they did a full waterproofing and upgrade on our basement that is in a flood zone ... I smelled something bad in the basement. I couldn't figure out the smell. I thought it might have to do with an animal dying or water trapped where it shouldn't be. Finally I had to call the company to see what they would do to of they had that smell. I was told an estimator would come out. I thought that even if they charged me to fix the problem it needed to be fixed. So Andrii comes out. Checks the basement. Asks me some questions. Checks all possibilities ... not even related to their work as waterproofers. Then he engaged the sump pumps... They worked but he kept adding water. Finally after several minutes of pouring water into the area he said that he was pretty sure the issue was fixed. Stagnant water in the sump pump reservoir. Because we hadn't had any water in the basement the pumps were never activated but there was water, which is common, in the sump pump reservoir. Andrii suggested ways to prevent this in the future. Easy things. And he was gone. No charge! Now THAT is service. And THIS is why I wholeheartedly recommend these people. And they responded quickly, too!

Chris came out in the middle of winter to properly instal our new thermostat that I had tried to install as I was troubleshooting a furnace issue. He came quickly. Did the work quickly. Didn't charge me as much as I would have expected! He gave a work around at that time because when I bought the new thermostat I didn't know that I needed an extra wire from the thermostat to the AC. He said he would come back before AC season to switch over to the AC at the thermostat. And he did but because of the lockdown he had to come back a week later when he had time to install the extra wire - which is next week but I came across this page online and I thought 'no time like the present'. No charge for the thermostat change-over. Get the pattern here? Low charge for the installation. No charge for the change-over. I don't know what the wire will cost to install but I can tell you that it'll be worth every penny that Chris decides is the right price. I just really TRUST this guy. And knowing a bit about his background … he really wants to give people fair prices. Just on principle we should be supporting him. And it's okay. My AC has a seized fan so Chris will have another opportunity to charge me money … and I will have another opportunity to save money using Acumen. And just to ensure you: I have no relationship with Chris or anyone that he knows … I just am impressed by him. And I don't write reviews much either! But … good work, fast to show up, quick and effective service on location, and really good prices … you can see why I am supporting this company.
