Our 30+ year-old AC was disconnected in the spring of 2020 to make way for some outside work, and we decided to take our time researching companies for the new install. We found Forge Mechanical and Ed after cross-referencing our preferred AC brand's list of dealers with those same companies' ratings on Homestars, and it turned out to be the right move. Ed was happy to come out at 9 pm the same day we contacted him, and left a great impression with his willingness to explain about HVAC systems and answer all our questions. His quote was reasonable and we also ended up adding a Nest thermostat to the total. On the day of the install, he took care to protect our floors where he needed access inside, provided high-quality workmanship, cleaned up afterwards and walked us through the functionality of the new AC unit/thermostat. We're very satisfied with his work, and look forward to doing business again in the future!

We had our garage door opener changed in December 2019, but waited to ensure everything was still OK 6 months later. Dodd's provided excellent service, we would definitely recommend! Dominic was very helpful in explaining the various functions of the new opener, removed and took with him the old broken opener, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. We are very happy we chose them, based on other HomeStars reviews.
