We wanted to make some lighting improvements and needed several new pot lights installed in our 2nd floor bedrooms/washroom, new wall sconce (w/ switch), and new power outlets installed around the house. We chose Ottawa Electric because of the great friendly communication, quick price quote, fantastic Customer reviews, easy scheduling, and their pricing was great. Although we had an idea of what we needed, the technicians were very patient with us and were able to walk us through several recommendations to make sure the work met what we had in mind. The technicians arrived on time, were super friendly, quick, clean, worked safely, followed all Covid protocols, and the workmanship was awesome. They came well prepared with everything they needed (they supplied the specific LED lighting units that I had requested) and also brought extra lights just in case we wanted to add additional units (which we did :). They were even prepared for our last minute request for a new sconce! The installations look great and everything works perfectly. The whole process was easy, fast, and convenient, and Ottawa Electric took care of everything including the Electrical Permit. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We're a very happy customer and would highly recommend them! We’ll be calling on them again in the summer time to help with some exterior lighting and power outlets in our backyard patio. We needed a ceiling chandelier installed in an open, curved 2nd floor stairway and found it so difficult to find a reliable electrician, and Ring Electric came to the rescue. I called them on Monday and they came the very next day on Tuesday to do the installation. The technicians were friendly, quick, clean, worked safely, followed all Covid protocols, and the workmanship was awesome. Our chandelier was a previously loved unit from my sister and I wasn't sure we had all the parts but the technicians were able to verify it and provide any small missing hardware. The installation is solid, looks great, and works perfectly. The whole process was easy, fast, and convenient. We couldn't ask for anything more. Excellent service and workmanship! I had a crack in my foundation and Dave Marcotte Foundations was recommended to me by a friend. Dave was able to assess the damage, walk me through the work involved, and provide an accurate price quote. He was able to schedule and make the repairs within a couple of days of when I first contacted him. Dave removed the interior wall framing, made the crack repair, and re-installed the wall framing with no mess! He was also able to take some time with me and provide his recommendations for other concerns I had around my foundation. Professional, reliable, excellent customer service!
