Crook in Old Toronto

Lee was onsite connecting a gas line to a pool heater. Once he was done I asked if he could take a look at our BBQ as I could smell gas. He said it just needed a new hose and then offered to replace it (as he likely had one in his truck). Appreciative of the offer, I accepted. It took him 5 min and he then asked for $180. When I confronted him about it he said that he gave me a discount because if I had called someone to look into the BBQ it would have cost me $200 for the visit. The fact that he was already onsite didn't matter!! He is extremely unethical and unprofessional. I could have purchased the hose online for $40 and changed it myself. Do yourself a favour and DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. He should be out of business with the way he treats his customers.
