Ron and Sandra were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire project. I particularly appreciated their communication which never left us wondering about any aspect of the job. Bernie and Aldrin did outstanding work resurfacing, staining and finishing our floors. They were professional, polite and readily answered our questions. They were always careful and avoided any damage to our home and property. They also did a thorough cleanup at the end of their work. Ron’s installation of his custom built transitions completed this project. We could not have been more pleased. We definitely recommend Acorn Wood Floors.

Silvano (Student Works franchisee) was professional throughout the project. His frequent communication and site visits ensured the job ran smoothly, on time and met our expectations. The power washing, painting and site clean up was very good. His team were polite, respectful, and focused on doing their very best work with each one taking pride in their job. Anyone considering Silvano and his team needs to keep in mind the painters are students, NOT professional painters. If you are expecting perfection then hire a professional but be prepared to pay accordingly. My wife and I believe we received good value / quality of work for the price we paid and will gladly recommend Silvano to anyone asking us for a painter.

Shawn was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, friendly and accommodating. We appreciated his building experience and candour when it came to selecting the appropriate flooring for our project. Davoud’s (‘David’) work preparing the floors and installing the vinyl tile was exceptional. His attention to detail and pride in his work is obvious and evident.
