We had Torwin come and quote for our window and door project. A coworker had used them, and recommended them, and I obviously checked here and liked what I read. Tony came out and did the quote - he was thoughtful and thorough. We decided to go ahead and Tom came to do the precise measuring. For almost all windows we were going to go brick-to-brick, which meant that there would be a lot of impact on the window openings. Tom was realistic about what would be involved in our 100 year old downtown semi ("it's going to be a war zone!") - which we found concerning. In reflection though, we were very happy that he managed our expectations properly. We did a lot of prep work - and had cleared around the windows and plastic-covered everything. Tom and his crew were efficient, careful, and did a great job. Clean up was good each day, and they were very receptive to any questions or concerns. The only thing at all that I could say was not quite right, was they went to do a standard sill, when we had arranged for an extended bullnose sill - fortunately I was in the house, and I noticed. I told Tom and it was quickly rectified and all was great. I knew that changing all the windows would improve the house, but it actually feels like a whole new house! Thanks Torwin.
