KC is amazing! My curtain hardware came out of the wall and as hard as I tried, I couldn't get it to screw back in. The holes kept getting bigger. Living in a downtown condo without curtains is rough and I wanted it fixed quickly. I called KC at 6 on Friday and he was here by 2 the next day! He rearranged his schedule to get this small but needed job done. Very much appreciated. After he did an excellent job of rehanging my curtain, he fixed my running toilet. It's been running for two years. I'm so happy! KC is pleasant and reasonably priced. I called another Toronto 'handyman' who wanted a 4 hour minimum at $95 an hour for the same job and hung up on me when I balked. I'm glad he did! As a single girl in this city, it is so nice to know that if I need help, I have someone to call. Thank you KC. You made my day.

I previously painted my condo myself and was unhappy with the colour and the small imperfections that go along with diy jobs. I found Kara Painting while Googling on the streetcar and gave them a call. Steve came and gave me a very reasonable quote and picked a neutral, problem free grey for me. He also suggested going with flat rather than eggshell. I was a little uncertain about the colour and sheen but trusted Steve's experience and did he ever come through. Steve painted yesterday and it it looks stunning. Perfect colour and I love the flat. Steve even fixed some of my flaws as he went. I am so pleased with the results. The job is flawless. Thanks so much Steve. Can't wait till you do the bedroom.
