We were referred to HGB Stone by our cabinet contractors (relatives) and we are glad we did. We priced out about 4 different companies and HGB came in with the best price and made suggestions on how to save our daughter money by going with a remnant for her bathroom counter. She LOVES the quartz counters in her kitchen and bathroom. HGB was very patient when we couldnt make up our minds and had them quote us 4 different ways to do the job. Their fabrication was fast and it was only about a week ready to install and they did a great job. Our bathroom tap got lost so we had to reorder and they accommodated us by coming back 2 weeks later to finish coring the bathroom once it arrived. Not only were they fast and efficient both times but they were very personable and friendly. They said they offer a 2 year warranty on their workmanship so that is comforting. My husband and I had another contractor that we have been dealing with for our granite counters but we will now also get HGB to quote a few different slabs for our kitchen as well . Thanks HGB our daughter is very happy with your service

We have used this company twice now on two of our houses for carpet in one and carpet and vinyl laminate in the other. Jensen is one of the nicest, honest people we have ever dealt with. Integrity, excellent customer service and great, no bull information, not pushy or arrogant. He reminds me of my dad and brother, decent business men and just a "good guy" . Maple Leaf prices are better than anything we had scoped out and the workmanship is fantastic. Our floors look amazing and we have had so many compliments on them, even from other contractors who have come in to do other work. Seriously, please check them out as he will do his best to work with you.

It's always a pleasure working with you! Thank you very much for the positive feedback on our team members. These types of positive reviews are the biggest thanks we can get as sales professionals so we want you to know we really appreciate this and it means a lot to us and Jensen. Thanks

Previously, our condo board hired CSS to replace the carpets in our halls/stairways/landings. The workmanship was shoddy with bad seams and cuts. We contacted the store to fix the issues and they claimed to have sent someone to fix them however upon reinspection, none of these problems had been fixed. So after a lot of hassle getting someone to come out, Cam, who | believe is an owner or manager, met me there so I could personally point out to him the issues. I have NEVER been in the presence of such an arrogant, condescending person in all of my life. He was clearly defensive and the rude, snarky comments and attitude just dropped my jaw. Even when I asked him if that's the way he speaks to customers, he didnt back down one bit but continued to act like a first class A-hole, but I would not give him the satisfaction that he almost had me in tears . He clearly did not like to be challenged or the fact that someone pointed out the bad workmanship his store provided. Once someone came back to fix the issues he even emailed our property manager, he asking, " is it done to HER liking?" WOW, the point is not whether its done to ANYONE elses liking, its whether its done PROPERLY... PERIOD. I usually give companies second chances especially if the price is right, since we own several properties. However this is one company I will NEVER use again or recommend based on the fact that they do poor work after being paid thousands of dollars, then do NOT rectify the issues when they say they did, and finally to have to deal with such awful managers/owners.

Our go to plumber wasnt available when our tenant called about the washing machine backing up into the basement toilet, so he called Chung at King's Drain Services to fill in. Chung came within a few hours that same day and snaked all the lines, filled the tubs and sinks and drained everything to make sure all the lines were free and clear. We werent available but when we called the next day to ask what the issue was, he responded immediately to our call and took the time to explain what he had done etc. He was very friendly and personable and did not make me feel like I was imposing on his time. When our go to plumber isnt available we would definitely use Kings as our backup service.

I am an 87 yr old widowed female who booked and prepaid for Triumph to clean my carpets in Dec 2013 on a special promotion. I was advised that heavy furniture didn't need to be moved so I had my daughter help me move the dining room chairs, coffee table and other lighter furniture that could be lifted and where I wanted the carpets cleaned. When the technician came he immediately started to get huffy and got upset because we hadn't moved any of the heavy furniture and he couldnt clean close to the furniture ie armchair, dining table etc. However I didnt need those areas to be cleaned since no one would be walking under the heavy furniture and a good tech would leave a bit of distance between the wand and wood legs or put pads under the feet so there is no bleeding. Rather than speak to us in a professional calm manner to discuss where we wanted him to clean and where he didnt need to clean, he started to give us heck . So while he was getting his equipment we moved a piece of furniture into the hallway since the kitchen was already full with the dining room chairs etc. When he came back he got mad at us again raising his voice because he said we were blocking the hallway yet he would still have room to move his equipment around which was not a truck mounted steamer or even a heavy duty commercial looking cleaner. He would not listen to us and got into an argument with my daughter when she tried to reason with him so he left without doing ANY work! When we called the company, I think the person who answered as the manager may have been the same person who came to do the work as he was very hesitant about providing us any information. My daughter called back another time and a female answered this time and advised us we could rebook another appointment but would charge me more money for the tech to come back. Seriously?? This company has ripped off a senior citizen on a limited income.

Hot Pepper Furnace came on time and did a great job cleaning the vents and furnace. They didn't overcharge and did the work they said they were going to do without trying to upsell us. The only thing he didnt mention was the color of the flame on the pilot light. It had been burning yellow so we were advised to get it cleaned, but HP didn't mention one way or another anything about the flame not burning blue so dont know if he noticed or just didn't bother to say anything if cleaning was going to fix it anyways..

Hello our valued customer!
Thanks for your review of our services. Regular furnace and duct cleaning greatly helps to maintain your furnace efficiency, together with the required maintenance of its parts, including, but not limited to pilot light condition. Our Tech most likely didn't mention this fact as our services normally resolve such conditions.
Thank you for your business!
We look forward serving you again :)

Our elderly mother was a victim of a devestating and expensive break enter just after Christmas last year. The Lux salesperson came out and we discussed her needs, however he neglected to ensure the work order was written up properly and the frame that they made was not prepped for an outer storm door. We were initially advised that it would have to come out of her pocket because Lux did not install the door, they just made it. Hmm. This was extremely upsetting after the financial and emotional toll she already suffered and being on a limited income she could not afford to pay for Lux's mistake. Had the salesperson written the work order properly the first time the insurance company would have covered it. It took some time and persistence but in the end Lux did .finally reimburse us after we paid to have the error rectified. At least John the sales manager stood behind their customers (our family has purchased windows from Lux before), it is unfortunate that we had to be so persistent to get finally them to be accountable causing a senior to stress and worry.. But in the end we are greatful they came through for her. So thanks John
