Hi, i wanted to share my experience. I wanted to wait before writing this review as I wanted it to be reasoned and not biased. Essentially, I had a leaking issue with respect to my roof and it was occuring near my skylight. I asked around and I found out it's either a skylight or a roofing issue. The latter is a little more harder to determine because you need to remove the roof to see the problem. I phoned the roof whisperer and talked to arthur who after looking at my photos said this was a skylight issue. I trusted him and we proceeded with the repair. Literally one week later the area started leaking again. I asked about the warranty and he said Albert would go up and look at the repair again. This time Albert told me that the original roofers did not put on a capp (second membrane) and that we needed to replace the roof entirely. What is egregious is that when Albert went up to look at the skylight for the first time, the fact that he did not identify that there was no capp on my roof is quite appalling. So when I phoned back after the second leak, it was only then that Albert raised the fact that the previous contractor did not apply a second membrane. I am quite shocked that Albert continued to repair my skylight when he knew that there was a serious issue with my roof. It's pretty sharp practice and not someone I want to continue to work with. Also, when I got their invoice for the roof repair - they didn't even acknowledge the fact that they made an unnecessary repair or address my issue that they should have identified the problem to begin with. For what it's worth, I got other roofing companies to look at my roof afterwards. Both of them said Albert's repair job was horrible and both of them said that it was not appropriate for them to fix it without letting me know that the roof was the issue and not the skylight. Also consider their reviews - nothing positive in the last year at the time of writing. I just want to protect others from experiencing this from them. They should not be in business.

I'm not a very "handyperson", so it was always hard to find a contractor that would take on a job that was (a) financially viable for them (b) met my scheduling timelines. Fear not! Odd Jobs is the company for you! The handy people are vetted and extremely knowledgeable at what they do. The cost is on the upper range of a particular task, but nothing that is out of the ordinary. I find the work to be extremely top notch and the customer service to be great! I think more importantly I trust their advice and work, which is extremely important to me when it comes to tradespeople. I would completely recommend this company for an "odd job"! if you're looking for something more specific/large scale, you may find other contractors better suited for your goals, however, other than those cases, these guys are great for the small-to-mid size job. Give them a shot! you won't be disappointed! thank you!

I phoned Great Plumbing Co. because of the great reviews on HomeStars. I was not disappointed. Jeff was able to fit me in his busy schedule. My condo was experiencing leaking from some exhaust pipes in our furnace room. He quickly assessed the problem, but what i loved about this experience was that he helped me identify some other problem issues in my furnace room. As a result I was able to get my water tank and furnace fixed as I didn't realize they were also in need of maintenance. He genuinely cared and was super helpful throughout the process. I will be going to his company from now on in. I completely trust his opinion when it comes to my plumbing needs. Thank you!
