This summer we hired Hickory Dickory Decks to resurface our aging deck. Our deck was large extending out and around our pool. Charleigh spent considerable time with us measuring the deck and preparing a very detailed quote with several options to choose from. When we sat down with Charleigh and Greg to discuss the quote there was no pressure to choose some options over others. They provided advice that allowed us to make informed decisions without the pressure of costs for the project. Our project started on time and we were kept up to date at every stage of the build. Unknown to us was that the salt water from our pool had slowly been corroding all of the metal parts in our old deck. As Matt and Greg began to remove the top boards, we were faced with failing joist hangers and post anchors. Our straight forward resurface had quickly turned into a complete rebuild. Matt spent many hours speaking with us and providing us with options to address the various problems that we encountered. He was able to quickly pivot towards a complete rebuild and problem solved with us several times. Matts attention to detail and focus on quality resulted in several changes to our deck design. Matt also came up with a fantastic solution to box in the sides of our pool and we were thrilled with the outcome of our deck. We were impressed with everyones professionalism throughout the project. They made us feel like our opinions mattered and they surpassed our expectations every time. We recently had Matt from Modern Konstruction do the drywall for our basement renovation. Matt came out on the weekend and spent over an hour with us talking about the project and giving us advice. He provided us a written quote within a few days and quickly scheduled the work when we accepted the quote. We were very impressed with Matt's communication skills and he always answers his phone to answer your questions. The quality of Matt's drywall work was second to none. He was hard working and recommended several things to make the appearance of the rooms better. I had no reservations providing Matt access to our house and he exceeded all of our expectations.
