Kitchen & bathroom backspash, entryway, fireplace
Cheerful, no-nonsense, professional work. Ionic is terrific value. I went with Ionic when my first choice was overbooked. They did my backsplash, entryway, and hearth. Clean-up leaves something to be desired, but given the price this is a quibble. I heartily recommend Ionic.
Complete kitchen cabinets, and countertop
We shopped around a lot for our kitchen, and Aya gave us the best value for the style we wanted. We were nervous about paying the full amount before installation, but a friend had Aya install his kitchen and was happy with it. Aya took longer than others (that we didn't go with) to come up with the design, but were thorough in the design review. There were a couple of hiccups in the installation, but Aya went beyond what we asked in making adjustments, and the result was impressive. We are very happy with our kitchen.
Very professional - from review of project design, to completion. Milorad reviewed options for the best aesthetic outcome, and carried them out with precision. He left my home ready for the next trade, and did a thorough job of cleaning up. I highly recommend Milorad for any tiling job.
Drywalling 3 floors in my house
Lynxus came in with the lowest quote. Clean-up was great, and so was drywall delivery. The crew cutting and screwing the drywall was professional, fast and efficient, but too aggressive with the zip tool and damaged wiring in electrical boxes, and covered over one of the electrical boxes. I was warned to push wires into boxes, which I did (obviously not far enough), but a little more care with the zip tool would have avoided damage. The taper did a fine effort on 2/3 of the job, but cracks and bubbles developed on 1/3 of the job, which I ended up redoing. Lynxus offered to fix the work, and the taper did text me to set up at time, but did not return my call. I was under a tight schedule, had already started the repairs myself and frankly I didn't want the same taper back in my house - after I had already redone so much of his work. The money I saved on the Lynxus price, I ended up spending on re-doing part of the taping, and electrical repairs.
Bruce came across as a great customer, was very accommodating and co-operative from the beginning to the end. I have made a few requests at the beginning of the project to ensure a smooth progress, prevent future problems. I also explained to the customer that there are issues with the framing that can cause future problems but customer insisted that we go ahead anyway. When the project was completed, Bruce was very pleased with everything we've done from material delivery, our professional crew of drywall installers, tapers, the quality of work and finally customer service. Few weeks later we received a call and gone back to make necessary correction as per customer's request. Bruce has not contacted us since the repairs now months ago so were were very disappointed to find his review and rating us so low. We truly care about our customers and we believe communication is the key to success on any project. Where we are limited is when the customer is not happy and doesn't communicate that with us. Without a doubt, we expect viewers of this site to see through your comments and poor review and let our excellent rating and photos speak for themselves.
