KDM Home and Gas Professionally completed our home. We moved in our home with baseboard heating. One thing my wife and I said we would never do is have baseboards but it was the neighbourhood that brought us here. Our thoughts were to renovate the entire home piece by piece by replacing each baseboard with an upgraded version. We just couldn't bear the thought of living with that type of heating. The main reasons were the cost of electricity to run 14 or so units in the dead of winter and the dry heat. So, it was decided to move to another heat source. We did our homework by inviting 4 other estimates with their ideas as to better improve our heating requirements. After reviewing all, we decided to go with KDM as their ideas and competitive pricing made the most sense. Daniel and team were very cooperative taking our request while consistently giving us choices throughout the build. Adding the heat pump gives us the ability to run heat until -18C. This is when the furnace would turn on eliminating the need for our propane to run all the time. Natural gas is not available in our area. Adding a gas manifold allows us to add appliances as we continue our renos in the future. The duct work is truly a work of art. Steve's knowledge and creativity makes hiding the piping a breeze. There are no shortcuts when it came to making a room's air flow correctly. The work was complete in 2.5 days and we couldn't be happier with our decision and their work. We look forward to recommending KDM Home and Gas to our neighbourhood as many homes have the same original build as we did. Thanks guys. Gene and Janie
