Being new in Ottawa and finally finding a house we could afford, there was work to be done. The superficial stuff, bath tile and paint I could handle, the electrical dating from the mid 1940's I could not. The search for a contractor to bring the house up to current code was daunting. When we stumbled upon the website containing the names of licenced Ontario electricians we were closer to a worry free project. Once contacted, Globe Electric quickly made time to look at what we required and provided a written estimate of the work. When all details were decided Globe electric made the arrangements to have the service brought up to 100Amps coordinating with the utility ensuring a quick turn-around. The entire electrical of the house was brought up to current standards in two days with a professional and tidy crew.
