The refrigerator was making scary rumbling noises for several days. I tried to use hairdryer to defrost the area that was particularly noisy. This helped for several hours, then the noise resumed. I used the Homestars to invite a technician. Eugene from the 911 appliance repair called first. He gave some suggestions of the source of the noise. He sounded quite convincing. The rate was reasonable and I decided to invite him. The company has a very high rating on the homestars, so i decided to go ahead. Eugene came right on time. Opened the fridge, the fan was frozen and it was as Eugene described the reason for the noise. He explained everything he was doing very patiently. Defrosted, cleaned up the drain, etc. He suggested to replace the old cracked plastic with broken grill, that was supposed to protect the coils from the dirt falling from the refrigerator and clogging the drain. I agreed and he will be looking into it (the part might not be available). He was very professional, courteous and patient. I’m much impressed. Can’t recommend highly enough.
