My fridge died in the condo that I am renting so my landlord fowarded me this website and told me I should contact Modern Appliance. I got a call from Peter the next day after submitting an on-line request and he set up an appointment with me for two days after. Like we had arranged, he called me at work ten minutes prior to him getting to my place that day so I could hop up and meet him: he was right on time. Peter had the foresight to ask me the make of my fridge and came prepared with some items already in hand as replacements. This strategy worked very well because there was some electrical component not working and with that little piece already in his tool case, he changed that and the fridge was back to being a fridge again. What impressed me was Peter's patience and knowledge. He knows his work exceptionally well and did not mind me asking him a dozen or so questions. As my landlord was going to reimburse me, Peter insured that the receipt that I was going to give to my landlord did not have my credit card information on it--that was very thoughtful. Should I ever need any future repairs, I am glad that I have his card because he will be the first person that I will contact. Robin
