We originally have started this project as a simple facelift to our powder room. The project was started by a different contractor prior to Tyler (REED INTERIORS). During the design phase and the start of work, our original contractor sold the company. We were not comfortable with the new owners, REED INTERIORS was highly recommended to us. We were hesitant but had no choice as we wanted our project finished before the holidays. Tyler came in and honored our quote from the previous contractor to complete the refresh. While starting the work, we discovered many issues that were not done properly in renos done by the previous owner. We discovered that our guest bathroom shower vent did not vent out, but instead vented behind the walls of the guest powder room. We also discovered that there were cracks in the plaster and that there were so many layers of paint that it was not advisable to install wallpaper over as it might peel. So our scope of work were as follows: 1. Demolition of existing plaster walls (Check for mold) 2. Install new wall framing 3. Install new venting for basement guest shower 4. Ilias and his team kept in touch coming up to my moving day. It was only me moving my family and I needed everything to go as smoothly as possible. I was not disappointed, the amount of care, thought, and planning was refreshing. Ilias being a partner of the company was on site overseeing the work ensured that my furniture was properly protected, loaded, and unloaded. Furniture that had to be taken apart was done so with care, and then put back together again at the new house. They kept a note which room the furniture came from and placed them in the designated rooms at the new home. Everything was cleaned and any moving materials used were taken away when they completed the move. I would recommend and use them again. Keep up the great work!
