This was our second project with Angelo and the All Pro Landscaping and Carpentry team. This time around we were dealing with significantly more challenging issues as we wanted our entire backyard completed in stone/pavers. Additionally, our yard slopes towards the house and with the complete removal of grassed areas we would lose all of the natural water absorption. Therefore, drainage would become a critical part of this project. At a high level the project had 4 main elements: 1. Two-level patio with garden wall, built-up steps from patio door, use of armour stones and a seating bench. 2. Drainage – 20 feet of channel drain that discharges away from the house with all patio areas properly sloped eliminating any pooling of water. 3. Walkway from front of house to backyard using patio slabs and river rock 4. 60 feet of new fencing and support posts, plus 30 feet of refaced fencing. Throughout all of the steps of this project, from the initial planning/drawings to the day we put patio furniture in place, the work was done in a highly professional manner exactly as it was communicated to us. Angelo was on site every day to ensure plans were being followed or adjustments made as necessary. Ann provided extremely detailed invoicing that turned the 4 main elements of this project into more than a dozen price points on a very detailed invoice. Technically, the work exceeded my expectations, thanks to Angelo’s meticulous planning and Dan’s stonework abilities and attention to detail – after many heavy rainstorms it’s amazing to see how effective the drainage system they implemented actually works, well done! In terms of overall aesthetics, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome and we are constantly getting compliments from friends and family as they too are blown away by how beautiful the space looks. Thank you, Angelo, Dan and all the team from All Pro Landscaping and Carpentry for an excellent job.

Hello Dave. Thank you ever so much for your detailed account of our work with you in May 2021. Glad to hear that the drainage system is functioning as it should in the face of the unusually heavy rains over the past seven months, particularly this fall.
After the refresh of your front entrance porch and walkway in 2019, we were happy to receive your invitation the following year to help you start the planning process for a 2021 backyard transformation. Given the prevailing materials shortages due to the pandemic, we were able to purchase your chosen pavers, wall systems and slabs in 2020 and store them at our staging yard over the winter, to ensure their availability for project start in the Spring.
Wishing you and your family many happy hours in your reimagined backyard space! All the best, Angelo

After 30 years we were ready for a new AC unit, I was also long overdue to return the rental water heater. My initial contact was with Marnie who coordinated the necessary steps. This install needed to take place over two visits as we were renovating the basement as well as landscaping our back yard. The compressor unit could not be installed until after the backyard was complete to allow for heavy equipment access. And then to make things more difficult our basement was being renovated before the back yard project. This meant the condenser needed to be installed and the related piping needed to be run but left coiled up inside the wall (approx. 20 feet away) for connection during the second visit. During the second visit a portion of the finished wall was opened up, holes drilled and pipes and electrical installed. I was amazed that the technicians were able to make the necessary pipe bends within a single joist bay (approx. 15 inch space) as I was prepared to open up the wall considerably more to accommodate. Marnie and the install technicians did a wonderful job. Everything looks very neat and professionally done. I would highly recommend Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning for your AC and water heater needs.

Let me start with the bottom line… hire Focus On Flooring and you won’t be sorry! From my initial contact right through to the finishing work, Rafal and his team did a wonderful job. Communications was excellent as was the craftsmanship of their work. Sebastian did a fantastic job refinishing our staircase and matching the new hardwood floors perfectly. Adrian installed the porcelain tiles at our entrance way and powder room and set them perfectly for the hardwood floors to be installed seamlessly. Caesar installed the hardwood flooring and we could not be happier with the outcome. We were assigned Ruben as the project manager who also did the staircase trim work. Ruben also ensures that everything is completed to your satisfaction, making last minute fixes/changes as required. We were so impressed with their work that not only would we recommend them but I have requested a quote for our basement renovation.

I requested a quote from Daniel after our first contractor was unable to perform the work. Daniel responded immediately and I could tell from our first conversation that his company was going to be light years ahead of the original contractor. Daniel is very personable and will take the time to explain the details. I received a very detailed and itemized list of tasks. We had the Engineer drawings & Building Permit in hand so in no time Daniel started the Prep work. As can be expected, when drywall is removed you discover new problems. The engineer had made assumptions that would not work with the existing plan. In no time, Daniel modified the engineer drawings which were than submitted and immediately approved by the city inspector and engineer, work continued with minimal delay! This project also called for the removal of a non-load bearing wall and drywall finishing of the ceiling & walls where the beam was replaced. Additionally, we had drywall replaced in two adjacent rooms where ceiling stucco had existed. During this process there were aspects outside of the scope (e.g. framing, additional drywall finishing) that Daniel handled without hesitation. Also, because of Daniel’s vast knowledge, as I was working on a totally unrelated project, he made a structural suggestion that saved many hours of work and $$$. We are so happy with the results and can’t wait to furnish our new Open Concept Kitchen/dining/den area. Daniel and his crew are meticulous & highly skilled professionals that exude confidence. Without hesitation, I would recommend Integrity Contracting for your next project.

I contacted ASR Engineers to enquire about the removal of a support beam on the main floor of our 2 story home. In the first phase of this project Anwar assessed our situation and based on our desired outcome he made recommendations. The recommendations were refined and a final approach was agreed upon. Anwar then submitted the necessary drawings to the city and a building permit has now been issued. Throughout the process Anwar has kept us up to date and handled all communications with city officials. In the next phase, Anwar’s construction team will make the necessary structural changes in order to remove a load bearing wall. The exiting support beam will be replaced with a completely hidden beam. Although an exact time has not been set for this work, we hope to have his team complete the work within the next few weeks. Although the constructions phase is still outstanding I would not hesitate to recommend Anwar for your engineering needs -- he is very professional and will keep you up to date throughout the process.

We initially chose All Pro Landscaping & Carpentry based on the many great reviews and pictures of their work and we couldn’t have been happier with the results! It was 25 years ago since our front yard was landscaped so it was in desperate need of some TLC. This project included interlocking stone (a raised walkout area and steps down to pathway) along with regrading and laying new sod. After our first meeting with Angelo we were confident that we would get the look we were after and based on his description of the work process it was apparent there would be no compromise on quality – We were not disappointed. Angelo’s landscape design and installation looks wonderful, something we will enjoy and be proud of for many years to come. I have no hesitation recommending All Pro Landscaping & Carpentry. These guys are real professionals who take pride in their work. Thank You Angelo.
