Andrei and his partner (sorry I've forgotten his name) did a complete teardown of the original bathroom. They raised the ceiling, lowered the floor, installed an in wall toilet and a heated floor. The quality of the work was excellent. They were meticulous in their attention to detail throughout the bathroom. The tiling was really well planned, and looks terrific. The floor, which has no lip between shower and room works perfectly--no water runs into the bathroom at all. Light switches are perfectly level,a cabinet was installed, in the wall, perfectly. The door hanging and the lock installation were just right; better, in fact, than the job done on another door in the house by a door company. On the first day the guys taped cardboard from the front door to the bathroom upstairs. They cleaned up every day, and they took this cleanup seriously. The job took 5 weeks (longer than expected, but we asked for a number of things to be added to the original contract). We felt it was not a burden having them in the house. They were easy and above all professional to deal with. We felt, as well, that their skills were at a pretty high level for all the trades they had to practice: framing/drywalling, electrical, tiling, plumbing. I have no complaints about the process or the finished product at all. Most highly recommended.

Pavlo was very clear about the work that needed to be done (unlike other contractors bidding on the job). He gave a competitive estimate. He explained when it would be done, and then did the work as proposed. High level of professionalism on the part of both plumbers involved. I would recommend Drain 1 to others.

The quality of the work was excellent. The electrician was informative, and payed attention to my questions and concerns. Altogether first-rate. The best electrical work that I have had done in my house since I moved in, 4 years ago.
