I must apologize I have been late in providing this feedback. Pete was wonderful. He came to the house and quickly assessed our needs. I must apologize I have been late in providing this feedback. Jack and his team were extremely helpful. They correctly sized and advised what would be needed for our home. We replaced three columns, balcony and porch railings. We couldn’t be happier with the job they did. Thank you again.

A few nights ago, my furnace started to make a buzzing sound. I quickly took off the cover and could clearly hear the sound was coming from the ventor motor. I turned the furnace off and called Peel Heating and Air in the morning. I mentioned on the phone what the problem was and I need someone to come out and repair it. I was told on the phone that they would charge for their visit, $139.000 to diagnose the issue. I asked if I would get that money back if I agreed to let them repair the furnace and was told no. I should have listened to my instinct and called someone else. But I was referred to them and thought they were reputable so I booked the tech. The tech arrived. As per his direction, I turned on my furnace. We heard the buzzing sound. Then the tech turned to me and said "your ventor motor is gone". He then proceeded to say that it would cost $900.00 to replace it. He then said that, in his experience with these furnaces, it is likely that the heat exchanger will go as well and that would cost another $1000.00 to replace. I was baffled. He then said it would be best to consider replacing the furnace with a new one. Obviously I needed time to reflect whether to repair the unit for approx. 2K or buy a new one. So he left and took my $139.00 for a 5 to 7 minute discussion. Disgusting. I called another company on Home Stars and as I described this very encounter with Peel Heating - without mentioning the company name - this other company said "oh you must have been working with Peel Heating and Air". The new company diagnosed my issue over the PHONE, with PICTURES they asked me to take and forward to them. I bought the replacement device, the new company's tech came to my house in the morning and fixed it in 30mins. For $500.00. I called Peel Heating and Air to speak about my issue with this service. Its been 2 weeks and still havent recieved a return call. ** Update ** per the message from the GM I contacted him and he indicated that is not how they run their business. As such, they sent me a refund in the full amount.
