There has been vast improvements made to Orchard Ridge Homes, Valleycreek Site, in the past 2 months after some new employees joined the site. The new Service Representative, Simon, is fabulous and has responded to our needs in an excellent manner. Being one of the first new home owners to move in we had a lot of issues the builder was trying to resolve.
We bought our washer and dryer from Sears, knowing the reputation it had for superior customer service. We were extremely disappointed with the service we received. The washer and dryer were delivered and the installation did not happen until 5 days later (the service person went to the wrong house the day of the delivery). The service person was then suppose to arrive between 8 and 4 on a Saturday. They did not arrive until 6pm and did not leave until after 10pm. After that we required follow up appointments due to a balancing problem and mechanical issues. Over a 2 months period we have had appointments almost once a week, of which half showed up at the wrong time or did not show up at all... and our washer problems still exists.
Maytag is still leading the pack in with its appliances and service! Chase, our salesperson, was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and gave honest advice, especially considering this was our first appliance purchase for our new home. They honoured the price matching guarantees and made sure we got the best deals out there. We ended up buying 4 appliances, and the warranty. The only drawback is that the light in our microwave blew fairly quickly, but we still love all of our appliances.
