One word to describe Yard Force: phenomenal. I inherited a home that had a large run down water feature in the backyard that my late father built. It was filling with water and attracting insects - a total eyesore. I tried to get landscaping contractors to help me with this situation in the past. I either got no response, or they would come look at the area and disappear or come up with some design that did not work with my needs or the yard. A few weeks ago I found Yard Force in a Google search. I liked the aesthetics of their landscaping so I asked for a quote. Jason promptly replied and came to my yard and produced a great design THAT FIT MY NEEDS. Within days my unsightly back yard was totally transformed. I have never seen such an outstanding crew; hardworking, meticulous and prompt with communication. They even salvaged the rocks that my dad collected for his waterfalls and made a "memory rock garden" out of them. The crew also added boulders and greenery in front of my house. My neighbors cannot believe how good my yard looks now.

I have used Day & Knight Plumbing & Heatiing Ltd. for the last couple of years. I found this company by a random Google search. I thought I would give a small company a chance as I was tired of the bigger plumbing companies that made promises of honesty and reliabilty but failed miserably on all accounts. AS A HOMEOWNER CALLING DAY & KNIGHT PLUMBING WAS A WISE DECISION. I live in a 60 year old home with older pipes - and inherent to that many plumbing issues. Ted and Austin at Day & Knight Plumbing have efficiently resolved any pipe and bathroom plumbing problems that I have encountered with my older home. There is no call out fee, pricing is fair and they are dependable. I appreciate that they take the time to explain the plumbing/heating concern and how it can be resolved. A few days ago they removed an old water tank and installed a new 40 gallon gas water heater. Despite Ted's busy schedule he even installed a new kitchen tap that I had bought even though I had not scheduled this service for that visit. Absolutely exceptional customer service.

I hired CertaPro for two projects on my property: to paint my old garage and a large deck that was poorly painted by a handyman that I hired from Kijiji two years ago. I am so pleased with the entire process. Chris, the sales representative, was punctual, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I cannot thank the painters Savvy and Kavvy enough. They transformed a 60 year old weather-beaten garage that had not been painted in decades into a structure that is an asset to my property. They did a phenomenal job. I honestly cannot believe that is the same garage. Savvy and Kavvy returned a few weeks later and painted my large faded multilevel deck and house foundation. Again their work was meticulous and I am thrilled with the results. Two years ago I hired a "painter" from Kijiji who messed up my deck with poor technique and cheap paint. He only used one coat of bargain paint that was not suitable for the Calgary climate. What a difference professional painters and quality Sherwin Williams paint make. I highly recommend CertaPro Painting. I will certainly have CertaPro return for interior paint jobs.

I had a 30-year-old toilet that I was having problems with so I looked through online reviews and picked Day & Knight Plumbing and Heating to have a look. I am incredibly glad that I did. Austin Jones quickly assessed the situation. He identified a serious structural issue that I did not know existed - the toilet had been leaking under the linoleum and damaged the subflooring. Austin removed the entire area of damaged wood, rebuilt the floor, re-piped the toilet line, and installed a new toilet. Austin arrived on time both days and worked very efficiently. All pricing and work needed was upfront and reasonable. I intend to use Day & Knight Plumbing and Heating for future work. I have used many home repair businesses over the years and Day & Knight Plumbing and Heating really stands out as being an exceptional and trustworthy business.

Alex and his team from Sunwest Roofing deserve more than 10 stars. I had a 14-year-old leaking roof and I was leary about roofers because the last company abandoned the job halfway through. This time I thoroughly researched roofing companies and I knew Alex from Sunwest was the right company for the job. He replied to me promptly with a quote, his price was very competitive and he presented me with different roofing options. Alex and his team are incredibly hard-working (even in adverse late October weather conditions), professional, they left my property clean and they did a great job. I more than highly recommend Sunwest Roofing.
