Quality of work: 5/5
My washing machine was not draining properly. The technician found two issues with my washing machine. He first replaced the sensor on the door. Then tested the washing machine and found that it only drained partially and there was still an issue. He found out the motor of the washing machine was busted due to the fan/motor being jammed with lost articles of clothing. He pulled out the clothes, replaced the motor with a new one and my washing machine was up and running.
Technician: He was patient, detailed oriented, respectful, explained every issue to me and left my place clean. I would definitely recommend Dima as a expert technician to any of my friends who may need appliances that need servicing in the future. Dima definitely knows his stuff. Once he diagnosed the issues, he showed me the cost and asked if I wanted to fix all the issues or just one or the other since it was a pricy job. He was transparent with the cost of the part and labor the fix the issue and did not pressure or sway me to fix anything that I didn't find important. He didn't try to nickle and dime me either.
Time: Overall this service was originally scheduled for a 2hr repair. It turned into a 3 hour repair job because of replacing the motor which was understandable. If it was just the sensor, it would have taken less than an hr.
Cost: this is my first appliance service job. I am not sure if it would be considered reasonable, but as a first time service, I would think it's pricy for the part and labor. I am not sure if it's reasonable or if there's other companies that would do a better job or cheaper since it is my first time calling in to fix an appliance.
