called them to check out our furnace based on the reviews of this place. The tech shows up, tells us that the pilot coil is burned out but the furnace may need replacing because the unit is over 25 years old.He bills us $150 for the call. He says he will contact us back when he finds the part. Fine, we wait two weeks no call. we call them, the receptionist says no workorder to be found. She says she will contact the technician and call us back................guess what? NO CALL BACK and Im out $150 and a broken furnace. THX NORTHWOOD FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Searched for chimney sweeping in HOMESTARS but couldn't locate a business. So I searched the yellow pages and found ASH chimney sweeps for the annual cleaning of my fireplace. Friendly person who took my call " Ashley" no pun inteded. Great service technician " Andy " answered my questions, gave me very good advice and now I'm confident about having a safe clean chimney for this coming winter. Look forward to next years service and having Andy back. he also had extra chimney caps in his truck to replace my old rusted out one. Stainless steel great quality. Now no more squirels in my home!!

I have had Andy do many renovations and upgrades to my previous homes over the years, from kitchen floors, finished basements, laundry rooms and just recently had Andy come and redo my main bath. I wouldnt have anyone else do the work. His skill, workmanship, and the completed projects are actual show pieces of the home. His skills can make alot of possiblities a reality and when doing some renovation, that is invaluable. Andy actually saves time and money because he gets it done once and right, with the best materials. I can honestly say I look forward to the next project.

Purchased a home recently and called for cleaning service to be done. I based it on the reviews of this site to go ahead with dial 1. The home is approx. 50 years new and never had previous duct cleaning done, so you can imagine what the returns looked like. Lets just say you couldn't see them. Joe arrived on time, set up quick and WOW theres steel behind those three inches of dust. Very courteous to my home and I will have them back for sure. A.Falcone
