I decided to contact BlueMax after reading their positive reviews here. Rafal was always quick to respond and to come over to view the job. I initially contacted him to install a shutoff valve to a gasline, but Rafal was very thorough and while in the basement, he noticed a few issues and notified us. We ended up doing not only this initial small job, but replacing our rental water heater for a tankless one (much nicer! It takes a lot less space and saves energy) and doing a few other jobs with him. Now he is our go-to guy, and I would highly recommend him! He runs his business in a very professional manner, he is very reliable, quick to respond and very knowledgeable.

Henry replied to a service request we opened at HomeStars. We explained the problem (likely broken spring, our garage door would not open), and that we were looking into a weather-proof seal. He was able to do the service on the same day, and offered a solution for our weather-proof seal (which we were told was not possible due to the age and brand of our door). He also provided us with an assessment of our current garage door and mechanism, and gave us an estimate for when we are ready to replace ours. We will consider replacing our garage door with them when we are ready. Thanks, Henry!

I called Persian Rug Services and got a quote for the rug cleaning services I needed. The drop off and pick up went smoothly at the Cleaning company in Oakville (nice gentleman, helped me unload and carry it back to my car). When I got back home, I noticed huge deep cuts along one of the rugs, which I had not noticed before. I called them, talked to Joe, and sent him some pictures. He called me back after seeing the pictures, explaining that the cuts were likely already existing from when the workers opened the package in store (when I 1st purchased it), and not likely from their cleaning. I honestly had never noticed the cuts before, but couldn't tell exactly how or when they happened. Joe pondered that, as they didn't flag it upon receipt of the rug, he would have it fixed at no charge. So I dropped it off at his facility and he brought it back to my home in a few weeks, with all the cuts nicely taped. I was so happy with how he handled things that I got him to clean yet another rug that I wasn't really considering doing before. I would use their services again and recommend this company.
