Michael was very prompt in arrival and explained the whole process to me. Unfortunately, Michael indicated that an appliance worked but never actually tested it correctly. I was there with my Realtor at the time. Now, it turns out the appliance does not function correctly. if he would have tested it correctly, he would have easily discovered the fault. It will now cost me money to fix this even though it should have been discovered in the home inspection.

Mike, thank you for taking the time to write your review. Unfortunately, I cannot find a Mike or Michael in Mississauga or Woodbridge in my database so I cannot speak to your specific case. Perhaps the inspection was done under your wife's name? Either way, in general, I test all appliances with the exception of dishwasher and washing machine (I do not test those due to the inherent liability). If an appliance is not functioning at the time of the inspection it is documented. If it is working as expected then I simply document the Model and serial numbers. However, even if something is working at the time of the inspection this does not mean it will be working by the time you take possession of the home. I can only document current condition.
