I have never worked with a contractor and not had any problems ... until I worked with Andy Gomes. He was clear on what was expected and offered some great suggestions to improve on the plans. He threw a few extras in too at no charge and was able to give me an update each day as the job progressed. Most importantly, my bathroom is gorgeous!

I had purchased a few sink and shower tapes from Dupont. They gave me a delivery time and I coordinated the installation around their delivery schedule - the products were of course late - with no communication to me - so when I drove across the city in rush hour to get them and for them not to be there, was fairly frustrating and this happened twice. Then, after 6 months of use, one of the spouts was not working. I was told in September that it would be replaced. It is January 26th and I am still waiting. Each time I call to remind them - they have inevitable forgotten to follow up ...

Our basement drain was backing up, we had it snaked. Drain City walked us through the various scenarios that could be causing the issue and recommended what we could do to fix it if the snaking didn't work.

Kevin has a great demeanor with clients - a his approach is a very soft sell and he is well educated in areas a new furnace buyer would have concerns in.

Although the Boyd's staff are very knowledgeable about colour and type of paints, I found I was mislead when asking for an outdoor self priming product. I was told "it didn't exist". I bought numerous can's of primer and paint only to find out that it did in fact exist ... just not at this store. A lot of needless time and cost was spend as it was a massive outdoor project ...

Nighthawk, came in to do the cleaning and took images so that I could see how dirty the chimney was before and how clean it was after. He was in and out in less than a half hour. Overall, a great experience.

This company was very helpful in providing direction on city guidelines for tree removal. They removed the tree and completely cleaned up the area to make it easy for me to put soil and grass seed down right away.

Amazing! They were helpful and not too aggressive right from the start - from the sales person right through to the installers. They followed up to check the system and adjust as needed free of charge. I would recommend them for sure!

Metro Asphalt did a good job with the paving. A few small issues; the work had not been scheduled yet and they called me to say they were ready to do it that day ... which was fine, but I would have preferred to have been home when the work was done to make sure instructions were clear as there was a bit of of a language barrier. They removed a chunk of a shrub that was beside the driveway ... not sure why that was in the way!

I had pre booked Craftwood to do my floors in a very small window of time between possession of a new house and moving day from the old house. Although they ran into a glitch - they lost a crew and didn't think they were able to do the job - after pressing for a solution, they were able to work it out and have a crew to the house much later in the day in order to get the floors done on schedule. After all was said and done - the floors look great and the cost was reasonable.

The job started with an initial visit from Sales - which was very thorough. An installer then made a visit for final measurements - he was in and out very quickly. The day of installation, the crew was right on time, put down blankets so the in and out of the house traffic did not leave any mess. The install appeared to go seemlessly. Above all - the windows look great and I already feel the change in draft/cold coming in form the outside! Galaxy made the whole process easy.
