The recent wind storm blew done a double section of our 30 year old fence..Estimates for a quick patch up job were very expensive with no guarantees of success.I started calling around and it seemed most of the Deck companies had shut it down for the season.My future son in law works for a Lumber company and had dealt with Ray so he asked him to contact me. From first contact and visit to our house for an estimate i not only felt very comfortable with Ray but i also sensed his pride in his work. We agreed on a price and he began the next day and finished up in cold wet weather and did a fantastic job.We now have the nices 80 Ft stretch of fencing in the neighborhood.My only beef is because he did such a great job my wife now wants the other two sections done too..that will wait for the spring and i'm very much looking forward to working with Ray again.He builds a great fence,takes pride in his work and works efficiently and cleans up after the job.He even fixed up my neighbours gate and my pool gate at no extra charge.

They underestimated by 1.5 hours but worse they charged 25.00 x2 for Mattress bags which we didn't order nor request.The part that irked me the most is that the movers falsely said we were told there would be a charge...i was present when the mattress was being wrapped. After speaking to the sales Manager who contacted the crew they admitted that they didn't tell us there would be a charge for the 2 bags and also acknowledged that in the contract i didn't order the bags.Additionally they charged us more for the truck than the contract stated. The crew were efficient and friendly but didn't need to resort to false statements to pad the moving cost. Management refused to reimburse me for the added costs which is all you need to know about the credibility and quality of management and ownership. How can one trust a company that won't stand behind their contracts and further more won't rectify an obvious indiscretion to keep the customer happy..surely it would be better for future business to refund the 67.80 owed than risk their reputation..Well clearly that's not the case.As a self employed person i spend far more than that on advertising and wouldn't risk the bad reviews over such a tiny amount. We were so nice to the crew; we gave them 6 bottles of water,donuts and bagels and this is how we are repaid for our kindness. So as my title states; i fully understand that not always do things go perfectly.But i judge companies on how they handle adversity and if handled properly that's what makes them an excellent company... I'm posting a followup to my earlier review. After several calls,emails i finally received 60.00 back. Companies should learn that how customers feel after a transaction is completed reflects in their satisfaction and opinion of the Company and whether they will refer others to that company..so leaving with a bad taste is not a recipe for success. That said i will commend the company for finally realizing their error and that hopefully they can have a more transparent policy regarding extra charges that customers don't expect.

Derek and his crew arrived on time today just as promised.They removed many branches that had been damaged by the ice storm as well as pruning some trees that were overhanging onto our roof.The workers were very professional and ensured that no damage was done to any part of the property.After they were done you wouldn't even know they were there..It's the second time we have used their service and i'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

I received Derek's name from a close friend who highly recommended his company. I called Derek to describe my concerns and he promptly came the next day and presented me with a diagnosis of the problems,a plan of action and a quote which frankly i was pleasantly surprised as i expected the price to be much higher. Derek was very knowledgeable and explained the required treatment in a clear concise manner with proper explanations as to why we should pursue this course of action. A week later Derek showed up with his crew of guys and completed the task just as described. The work was done very professionally and the job was cleaned up such that one wouldn't even know he was there. If you need any Arborist work around your house or business i strongly recommend you give Derek's company a try and i'm 100% sure you won't be disappointed.
