We have been working with Patrick and his team for over a decade at various locations. Recently a few of the shingles on our rental home detached due to unusually high winds and we had a small leak. Initially we asked Greg to diagnose a whole house low pressure problem. He was able to do the work the next day due to a schedule change for another customer and it only took him a few hours. He also sourced a new sump pump and swapped out a unit that wasn’t working properly. We were happy with his honest, no nonsense approach.

We needed to replace the windows and blinds in our 35 year old house and we selected Ambia after researching the company. We had over 50 large windows to be removed and replaced and half of them needed a combination of motorized and manually operated blinds. Having completed the work on time and on budget we are completely satisfied with the quality of the work and final result. Tony and his colleagues worked with us at each step to ensure they understood what we wanted and that it suited our home. The installers were knowledgeable and efficient and listened to us as the job progressed. The windows have been installed now for an entire season and they have performed very well, there is no condensation problems with the triple glazing. The overall climate within the house has improved from the triple glazing and the solar coatings which has made the house noticeably more comfortable throughout the seasons. We use Alexa to control the blinds and set up schedules which prevents harsh morning and afternoon light from entering the home. The blinds are also programmed to lower in the evening for privacy taking into account the suns changing position throughout the year and daylight saving time. Paolo did a perfect job on our small but difficult to work on flat roof. He was prompt and gave great service with a smile and positive attitude. Even did a few small repairs what were not part of the quote. This company is a keeper.

I hired Barkley Hunt to do the grout work on my newly constructed natural stone fireplace. This was a job that I was not willing to do myself as I know the final outcome can either make or break the look of a project and despite being a fairly capable DIYer I knew this was a job for a pro. I'd have to say the final outcome is better than I ever expected, and it has held up now for approx 12 months. While Barkley was working he noticed that I was interested in his methods (as a DIYer) Barkley willing showed me how to do the work, I consider this a sign of a top ranked tradesman . He also recommended a slightly different colour grout than I asked for and I was so glad he did because the final result was phenomenal. Many thanks for you help, Wayne
