Had Brad come out to look at my landscape lights as they were not working...only you find out it was a GFI button that need to be pushed ...SMH. Brad was courteous, however, the lack of mask wearing had me very concerned...during these times and in the middle of a pandemic if you are going to step inside my house the proper protocol is to wear a mask, no different than taking off your shoes. Hard to believe I recommend this company to my neighbors whom are immune compromised.

Thank you for your feedback Lise. It is the policy of 24/7 Electric to follow the recommended guidelines of Alberta Health. As you can imagine, there are many to follow across both the municipality and Province. We have worked hard to ensure that our technicians are educated on these ever-evolving recommendations. Unfortunately today there was a brief lapse in concentration by our Technician and his mask was not second nature and he forgot. We do apologize for this. Along with sanitizing all tools between visits, sanitizing the trucks between each visit, wearing masks, and sanitizing themselves, each technician works to exceed the recommendations to keep our customers, their families, and themselves safe. As always we appreciate your support during these unprecedented times and will continue to work at being a leader in best practices.

We've had 24/7 Electric come to our home in the past to replace a bathroom exhaust fan and we were so impressed that is was only logical to have them come and replace our smoke detectors when they started acting up. Logan came on a Saturday which was really nice as it is always hard to take a day off during the week. Logan was EXTREMELY professional, thorough and was careful to ensure his work space was clean and tidy. He even put up with all my questions.

Do not build with this company ...they certainly won't last. 3 years (that's right count them three years) to build a house from start to finish and they were only finished because I fired them. As per the previous message on this post they were $200,000 over budget, the workmanship was rarely of quality, there were a couple of trades that we liked a LOT, however because they costed too much or weren't treated adequately they ended up leaving CCD. There was a constant revolving door of supervisors on our home...who promised good things but all fell on deaf ears. Things had to be done 10 times before anything was done right and even then it seemed they managed to break something else in the process. If anything these guys will really test a marriage...so be prepared for many arguments and hardships long the way. Needless to say, our one year warranty has expired and the house is still riddled with deficiencies and we don't have all the proper documentation. To make a long story short, we agreed to make a final payment and cut them lose pending proper documentation (i.e RPR, grading certificate and development permit). Made my last payment to them last week once I returned home to have a final look through of the documents they forwarded the wrong documents. I would never recommend CCD to build a custom built home to anyone!!! If you're looking at building a house ensure you do you're proper research , skip these guys, your sanity and relationship is worth more than any house.

I live in Calgary and thought highly of Solus's products, so I ordered a surround from Vancouver in March of 2011. It's Nov. 29, 2011and 3 screwed up hearths later we await the 4th hearth, due to be shipped the end of February. The first hearth we blamed our builder for not inspecting it prior to install and found a toonie size oil / water mark that could not be removed. After all is said and done, we discover it's a flaw in the mixture. The builder took responsiblity and paid for the second surround. The second surround came and again apparently 'when they poured the mixture there was too much water in it' causing more water spots and lines. The third hearth (the worst one of all) looked like they tried to putty up the holes that surfaced after the curing process. I swear someone had their 5 year old use silly putty to try and fix it.. I understand mistakes happen but 4 bloody hearths after the fact....come on now! Sure they apologized but how many times do they have to do this before they get it right....what about some compasation for myself and the builder? In total between myself (the homeowner) and the builder this has cost us close to $20,000. Again, compansation, if you dare ask? 0....Nothing.... Zilch. Would I recommend Solus decor not in a million years.
