Mike was one of the subs on our recent basement finishing project, handling among other things framing, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry. Mike's focus on ensuring the quality of the end product throughout the length of the job was much appreciated, as was the way he treated our home just as we ourselves would and maintaining a clean work site. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike for other projects big and small.

Stan and the team at Renovation Experts helped us finish our semi-detached house's basement. We had underpinned and thus had a relatively blank slate to work with. While we had some hiccups along the way due to some structural challenges that took some time to figure out (such are the joys of owning a 100 year old house) we are very happy with the quality of the work and the end the result. We were able to significantly expand our livable space, and add a full bath including integrated washer/dryer. Renovation Experts and their team handled and delivered on all of the framing, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, electrical and fixture installs we required as part of this project. We would have no hesitation recommending the Renovation Experts team for a similar project in the future.

I needed an asbestos remediation on the old plaster/lathe in the ceiling of my porch. I sought 5 quotes in total but in the end Oakwood Village Contracting's was both thorough in explaining the approach to the work and cost competitive. Israel and team did a great job and were very conscientious in their work, and for the most part we barely knew they were there. Communication of what was happening when was clear throughout. The result was passed by a third party consultant without issues and provides me with a nice clean and safe base for me to continue with my project. I would highly recommend Oakwood Village Contracting for asbestos abatement services and would use them again without a second thought if I ever need to open up something else in my 100 year old house!

We had True North Underpinning add an extra 2 feet of clearance to our 100+ year old semi-detached house's basement - going from 6 feet to 8 feet. Daniel was able to walk through the project with me and provide a thorough quote which combined with their excellent testimonials gave me the confidence to proceed with them. Ultimately I was very glad we did, and was very happy with results. While we had some hiccups along the way due to the soil consistency under our house True North were able to bring in the right external engineers to help us ensure the project could proceed safely and with minimal cost overruns. Best of all despite these setbacks they were able to finish the job in the time quoted. Kevin and the crew on site were very friendly and easy to work with and did a great job of keeping the site tidy throughout. I had an old exterior window that was leaking and causing rot in the sill and frame. Alex came out to see me promptly and was very thorough in his approach to evaluating the task at hand and coming up with a quote. I could tell that he takes his profession very seriously and in particular does everything to ensure an accurate estimate and minimize the chance of surprises for both of us. When it came to scheduling the work he was also very easy to work with and proactively communicated with me to work around both of our schedules. When the crew came out to do the job of removing the window and repairing/replacing the rotted components around it they were prompt (even arriving a little early) and great to work with in terms of attitude to the job. I am quite happy with the end result, which is a significant improvement on what was there before. This was just a relatively small repair, but I would happily engage Slon construction for future projects in and around my home as well and would highly recommend them to others.

I engaged these folks for vacation snow removal over an approximately 3 week period. They responded quickly and with a thorough contract at a reasonable rate. As it happened the only major snowfall that occurred while we were away was right before our return, when I arrived home from the airport early in the morning I was pleased to see that all areas we had discussed had been cleared and salted exactly as desired. I will use this company again in future and would recommend them to others.

I requested a quote from Amplify Masonry for a small repointing job via their website. They assessed the photo I provided and called back to discuss my options. Turn around time on getting someone out was extremely quick. They were efficient and thorough in their work and also patiently explained what I was seeing and why. I'll definitely be getting Amplify Masonry back for any further masonry work I need done in the future.

Engaged this company to checkout and service the furnace of a property I purchased. Turnaround time from calling to getting a technician out was very quick (<24 hours). Kwame the technician was very pleasant and efficient. He also walked me through exactly what he had done so I knew what I was paying for. Highly recommended and will use this company in future.
