Philip and his crew has visited our home twice - once last fall to clean out the eavestroughs and a couple of weeks ago to clean all the (very dirty) exterior windows and screens. We have found the work to be excellent and fast and he arranged for the cleaning to be done at a time that was convenient to us - and showed up on schedule. I would recommend this service to anybody looking for professional work at a reasonable price. Although a bit more expensive than we have paid in the past, the peace-of-mind knowing that the work was done correctly makes them the company of choice for us. Thanks Philip! Al

From start to finish this company was professional, careful and performed extremely well over the two day move. Aaron did the estimate - very professional and crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's. We went through every room, shed, storage room, attic etc. in the house and he seemed to take excellent notes. I had high hopes for the moving experience. The moving crew - Worked hard and stayed focused from start to finish. Jeremy was a good leader and kept everything running efficiently. A few items were slightly damaged due to very short lapses by 2 crew members being a bit rough and Jeremy pointed out the damage but it was too minor to be a real issue. Overall, since I was never expecting white glove service, I feel the crew delivered a very good performance. On day one, when the first team arrived, they knew by mid-day they needed more people and a second truck. They were able to get another mover for 3 hours in the afternoon and the first three guys did a great job of keeping up a good pace from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Jeremy and the crew (and the company for quickly sending a second truck) adapted well to the new reality. I contacted Melissa in the office about extra costs and she confirmed I would not be charged for the second truck which I really appreciated since the truck would be travelling 300 km round trip to and from the new house. We agreed that the extra person and having a 4 person unloading team (instead of 3) on day 2 would mean extra costs. Even though the actual costs were more than the estimate, I understand our move was a little harder to estimate than others as we had a LOT of break down built in furniture that we were moving to the new house. In the end, we are very satisfied with the value we received. We would highly recommend this company. Thank you, Al and Lisa

When we decided to re-use our kitchen cabinets and counter top in our new home, I contacted a few companies on homestars to see if they would cut our existing granite to new sizes and shapes. A few companies said they did not do this kind of work and some quoted very high prices. When I contacted Toronto Granite, Vladt was a total pro from start to finish. He always answers his phone, and responds by e-mail promptly. He quoted a reasonable price and did not treat our job as a hassle but as a small service. When my wife and I went down to their workshop to drop off our counter top, it was hard not to purchase new counter tops as their granite and quartz slabs were so beautiful with a huge selection. The work was done quickly and the delivery guys were right on time and very courteous. We now have found our granite company and look forward to working with them soon when we replace our kitchen countertop at our cottage. Thank you!

In a world where it seems almost every service is "hit and miss" this company takes a professional approach. After I called, Arthur came over the next day and evaluated what would be needed for the project. We set a date and time for the work and they promptly showed up at the appointed time. Arthur and Jack worked straight through until the work was finished with an eye for detail and the plumbing looked good. They were fast, confident and you could tell they knew what they were doing. I would recommend them and have them in my contact list as my go to plumber for all future projects.

Just spent 10 minutes writing a much longer review but for some reason, when I clicked submit it did not work. Bottom line - everything about this company is professional, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and customer service oriented. - Best plumbing company I have ever worked with. I found this window cleaning company to be very professional, punctual and courteous. I asked them to clean the aluminum work around the windows and they said that was part of their standard service. They worked very quickly so I went around to check the quality, worried that they were missing things but every window was done perfectly. They washed, rinsed and replaced the screens that were on the outside. They also were careful not to scratch the outside of the house or dent the eaves troughs as I noticed they were using special bumpers on the tops of their ladders. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Al

We just had our hot tub installed and wanted to write about the great experience we had with Bonavista - Eglinton Store location. We actually replaced an existing Hydropool hot tub that was not cared for by the previous owner. I "nursed" this tub for a few years with the help of Bonavista and in particular, Jennifer. When my wife and I decided to buy a new one, we had no doubt that Jennifer would take care of us. They made the purchase process easy, and organized everything from the crane to raise it over our house to recommending a great electrician who did a fantastic job running a new wire for the tub. The post-install follow up was more like a mini-course than a quick run-through and Jennifer and her team were delightful from start to finish. I highly recommend this company because their products are first-rate but more importantly, they treated us like we were there only customer, even though they obviously have MANY! Thank you and we will hopefully be purchasing a Hydropool swim spa from you in the next couple of years.

I was writing another review and discovered this 4 year old review was never submitted but after reading it again, it is still upsetting how awful the service was a this company. A friend of mine suggested a sliding door track for a doorway I was trying to find a solution for. Since Antique Door and Hardware was close to our home, I called and described what we were looking for. The person told me they do sell these systems but they were thousands of dollars and I would have to call back to get more information. I then talked to my friend and he told me that the track systems were made by KN Crowder and the one I wanted was between $300 and $500. I called KN Crowder and they told me to call Antique Door and Hardware. I called ADH on several occasions and they kept on telling me to call back when the fellow who knew about them would be in. Finally, I went into their store and the people behind the desk could not find the KN Crowder catalogue and told me to come back later. I went online at home to find the parts and went back to the store. They told me to come back later when they found the catalogue (they said they had one but could not find it) so I could order the part. I called back on 4 occasions and left messages. I also went down to the store again on a Saturday but they were closed (because they are closed on Saturdays for a month in the summer). I also e-mailed the contact person on 2 occasions and then I called again. When I finally spoke to the person he rudely told me he had e-mailed me back (I checked and never did get an e-mail from him). I ordered the part and it took several weeks, phone calls and e-mails to get the part (after they told me it would be a few days and they would contact me when it arrived). I finally picked up the part, had it installed and it worked fine.

I've been using Simple Sudz in my cleaning business (www.luxclean.net) for over 2 years and my team and clients love it!
