I had the pleasure of meeting Mario in 2016 when he did a stamped walkway at a great price. We have since sold the place but I’ve walked by and haven’t observed any issues. This year I had them do a new stamped porch and walkway plus a brand new asphalt driveway with concrete curbs at our new place. They did a fantastic job, and made sure everything was graded/sloped properly. They also did work at my dad’s, pouring a new front porch and walkway, a backyard patio, and a connecting walkway to the driveway. Great work overall, but I thought the risers on his front porch were a bit sloppy, probably because they are a very dark colour. Mario has promised me he will fix them in the spring of 2019 and I am confident he will. I will update this review if he does not keep his word but I don’t anticipate experiencing something like that.

We had a minor roofing repair and several local companies wanted a couple of thousand dollars to fix it...and not immediately either. Slavik was recommended to me by a highly reputable roofing company and boy am I glad we found him. He fixed the issue quickly and pointed out a couple of other things, recommending we take care of them although he was honest and didn’t make it seem like an emergency. Fast forward to a few months later and my dad’s lakeside new build sees large sections of shingles removed by crazy winds. His neighbour suggested using his roofer since he was in the same boat, but his guy never showed and in that time water starting leaking into my dad’s bedroom. I called Slavik and he showed up immediately to take care of it. We then had him do the work he recommended at our place. As always, hassle free and he even nailed down a loose piece of flashing he noticed while up there. Reliability aside, the best thing is his honesty. A lot of roofers told us our roof needs to be replaced but he is the only one who assured us we had a lot of time left. We recommend him to everyone now.

Mark gave us a competitive quote and worked with us on the pricing by giving us advice on what we could change to save money without compromising our vision. The windows were delivered and installed within 8 weeks, as promised, and the installers took great care when removing the old wooden century glass windows. To my delight, not a single one was broken. We did a total tear out and the installers took the time to properly spray foam around them. Their capping work was phenomenal as well. As the house was still under renovation, we took their advice and waited on installing the doors to prevent them from getting damaged, however the changing weather made it necessary to install the patio door earlier. Arcana happily accommodated us, and despite our mason screwing up the opening, they made it work and look beautiful. The exterior doors were installed next and again, they did a wonderful job. We couldn’t be more pleased.
