We needed to update the original shower in our en-suite bathroom which was showing it's age. We were looking for a total rebuild of the shower requiring the removal of the existing partition wall (to be replaced by glass) and raising the height of the shower ceiling two feet to the same level as the bathroom ceiling. We spoke with a number of contractors and finally selected JHF Contracting. JHF (Jesse) arrived to begin work on the demolition of the existing shower on schedule and were very careful and diligent with the demolition and subsequent rebuild of the shower, as well as suggesting several improvements in the design of the shower. Overall, Jesse were very professional, meticulous and completed the job on time without any surprises. We are very pleased with the results and have recommended JHF to our neighbour who is considering a kitchen renovation.

My recent experience with Tropical Insulation has been excellent, beginning with the thorough and detailed price quotation provided by Gary and ending with the excellent service provided by the two man crew. Even though Tropical was not the cheapest quotation we received, I was impressed with the quality of Gary's initial visit and the thoroughness of the procedures to which Tropical's team adhere. The crew who performed the work were prompt, clean and respectful of our property. We were provided with both before and after pictures which was appreciated and proof of the excellent work performed. We recently had some work performed by Jason and his assistant to deal with an intermittent wobble of the ensuite toilet, and a water leak near the cleanout valve in the basement. Jason was able to address both problems in a very professional and thorough manner, especially concerning discovering the source of the water leak with minimal cut-outs in the drywall. The team returned to repair the drywall and did an excellent job of it and left the whole area clean afterwards. We are very satisfied with the work performed, but also with the personal interaction, as Jason is straight-forward and trustworthy in his approach. We would definitely use Jason again, and recommend him to others. Well-done!

I contacted Mahamat suspecting that both mice and squirrels had invaded our attic space. Following a thorough inspection of the attic and exterior walls, Mahamat confirmed back evidence that we had no squirrels but rather bats, as well as the mice. He wrote up a detailed estimate outlining his recommendations and was very receptive to accommodating my concerns within my planned budget. He sealed a number of areas around the soffit and the brick facade, as well as installing various one-way exit doors for both the mice and the bats. He was very diligent and methodical in tackling the job and will be returning to remove the one-way doors within 6 - 8 weeks. In summary, I found Mahamat to be very professional, conscientious and polite and would not hesitate to recommend him for a job well done.
