We took a long time to decide to rebuild a badly sunken, narrow and overgrown footpath that bridged the front of our small midtown house, but when Julian was still available and interested in the job a year after making his original quote, I knew we had the right person. The spacious new walkway has curves, slopes for drainage, and is like walking on a grande allee between the perpendicular cement paths it joins. Compliments from all who have seen it. The Ribeiro team was wonderful to have on site: clean, quick and quiet; Julian supplied suggestions, answers, updates and information as the job progressed. Thumbs up all around.

Although we're still waiting a few days for some warmth and sunshine to help the new shingles settle, and some heavy rains before we breathe a sigh of relief over the leaking porch roof, we have only compliments and praise for the four-person Global One crew, and Peter, our main contact. Several weeks elapsed between Peter's quote (with built-in contingencies for repairs, make and color of shingles selected and additional labour options supplied) and the day the four-person crew arrived. They were polite, professional and exceedingly pleasant. They worked quietly, quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up the worksite to remove every speck of debris. At the end of a rather cold, windy day, Olly (sp?) the foreman, pointed out one last small task he could wrap up on the spot, or leave for another time or solution. I opted for the former, and all the guys banded together, pulled a ladder back off their truck and finished off an oddly shaped corner of the with porch shingles and caulking. We are very pleased to have hired Global One.

We wanted awning-topped windows to replace the sealed windows of the front porch on our 105-year-old midtown home. We have used Pollard very happily for other projects over the last 25 to 30 years, and really wanted them to be our final choice. They were, both in terms of cost and service. From initial discussion to final installation involved more than a year of planning, decision-making and construction. Throughout, Moustafa, the sales rep was gracious, helpful and patient. We are delighted with the results.
