I always have my ducts cleaned every few years before the winter. I did some research on the internet and called a number of companies before choosing Power Vac services. They have a very good reputation, have been around for over 40 years and belong to a national association of duct cleaners. They came on the scheduled day and did a complete system cleaning with their power vac truck. The vents were very dirty and they showed me what came out. They also did my dryer vent as a bonus. Although the price was not the cheapest I feel the quality of the service and their duct cleaning technology is more than worth it.

I was looking to have a few items removed and taken to the dump and decided to purchase a teambuy offer from this company offering $35 rubbish removal for 250 pounds of stuff. I thought this was a great deal as I was sure that the stuff I had did not weight that much. I scheduled the appointment on Sunday as it is my only day off. The truck came about an hour late and then when my stuff was on the truck I am told that is is $150 with tax. I am told that the junk weighs over 600 pounds and that is the extra charges. I ask to see the weight from the onboard scale they said they had but am told that it is not working and that charges are based on personal experience.I unfortunately pay the amount on my credit card as I do not want to get into an argument and I have other things to do. I will never use this company again and would like to warn others.

I was sick and tired of always having to clean my house gutter system and decided it was time for a change. I live in an area of lots of trees and this causes them to fill quickly with debris. I was talking with my neighbour a few months ago and he mentioned that he has the Leaf Guard system. I had also seen them at costco and scheduled an in-home sales consult. I was shown the product and quality and was very impressed with the idea of not having to clean gutters again. Also, they come with downspout baskets so any debris is caught before it goes into the drainage system. The quote was very detailed about the scope of work and the product comes with a number of warranties, one of which is transferable to the new homeowner. On the scheduled day a crew arrived and the entire system was replaced in about 8 hours. Some of my fascia was repaired and the old gutters and downspouts were removed and everything was cleaned up. I am very happy with the look of the new system and it definately adds value to my house. Although it is more expensive the quality is hard to match and the service was excellent.

The trees on our property had grown so much in the last few years that it was time to have them cut to something more manageable. After getting quotes from a number of companies I chose Ecoscape because of the direct and honest response to my questions. They showed up on time and completed the work in a professional manner taking great care no to damage my or my neighbors properties. They made a great effort to clean up and I was extremely happy with the outcome.

My house had a leak in the roof and I needed to have this addressed before the winter months. I called a number of companies and finally settled on Westside Roofing because of how professional and knowledgeable they were. After an inspection the roof was done and the scope of the work to be done I received a very reasonable quote. The work was scheduled for the following week. The workman arrived on time and fix the problem area in about 4 hours. The shingles matched perfectly and everything was cleaned up. I am very happy with this company and will recommend them to all my family and friends.

I required a garbage removal company to help clean out my fathers house after 30 years of collecting. I used the internet and called a number of companies but they all seemed very expensive so I called a company who parks there truck on the side streets. Doug answered the phone and explained the pricing and he said he could do it same day so I booked a truck for later in the day after I finished work. At the agreed time two men and a large truck arrived and immediately went to work removing all the garbage. It took a number of hours but they were able to get all the garbage in one truck load with proper packing and breaking down a lot of the furniture. Everything was swept clean and I paid on my credit card. Excellent work and very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I had Best Security take over an alarm system that was installed by the former owner. The sales rep was very helpful in explaining my options and costs. As another reviewer said I also had an older gentleman come over who did all the technical stuff for Best to take over the system. I also added monitored fire as we have dogs and I feel this provides added protection. He was very knowledgeable as he had many years of electronics experience. He came equipped with all the tools you could possibly imagine. The work was done in a couple of hours and after testing the system.The monitoring is very reasonable and I have called back a few times to get more information about adding some other services. They are always very helpful. A great company.

I found Ludo very helpful with our recent bathroom renovation. He and his team answered all my questions, were prompt, efficient, polite and completed the job when they said they would. Would hire him again anytime.

Expecting a very expensive repair but the men and women at Milani were fantastic. They scoped the entire system and then cleaned it to make it new. Thanks to Jack, Mike and Becky. You are fantastic.
