I reached out to a few suppliers for quotes including some of the companies that you see ads from all of the time. I contacted Rusco because we had family that had used them in the past. Some of the sales guys that came out wrote a number on a piece of paper. Some sent me an email with pricing. Paul came out, walked around the house and made recommendations including doing the installation differently than I was originally planning because it would require reusing the existing frames (which other sales people didn't point out). When he was finished he promised to get me a quote within a couple of days. That night I got a detailed quote that explained all of the work that would be done, all of their terms and conditions, etc. This was the first proper quote that I received. After negotiating between Rusco and one other company that I was considering I decided to go forward with Rusco. A few days after making the deposit, one of the installation teams came out to do final measurements. Due to Covid, the windows took a little longer than we expected (not much), but everything has lately so I can't blame them for that. When the windows were ready arrangements were made to do the installation. Due to heat and humidity they scheduled two days to do the installation for safety reasons. We were told the team would be here sometime between 8 and 9 am. They showed up at about 8:30. So far so good. Installation went really fast. The team ended up pushing through and had 7 windows replaced by about 1:00. The windows are fantastic. Not only did Rusco's installation team so a great job, the manufacturing team did a great job. For several weeks after the installation I would walk into a room and stop and stare at the windows, something that you normally don't even normally think about. We've immediately noticed a huge difference in the temperatures in the house, especially upstairs. Normally there is a few degrees difference between upstairs and the main floor. Now it is at most a degree. I would definitely recommend Rusco to anyone looking to get some windows installed.

Don't let people tell you that companies that believe in customer service don't exist anymore. Our old AC (the sales guy called it antique ?) unit decided to die at the start of the biggest heat event in years. I called Reliance at about 9:30 on Friday night. The sales guy was at my house the next day and today, Sunday, Canada Day, the guys were here to install my new AC (Canada Day didn't cost me any extra). I was told they would be here between 8:00 and 10:00 am. 8:37 they were at my house. By 11:15 they were done and on their way. The installer guys were awesome, laid down mats so that they didn't mess up the floor, and didn't leave anything behind.
