Great service, customer focused ! Brett provided his assessment on a lilac tree that had uprooted and put it back in place as we had requested. Could not be happier with the outcome.
After showering one morning in August, went down to basement to find sewage water backed up. I contacted Restoration 1 Durham and they immediately arrived to start removing soiled carpeting and salvaging beautiful wood side paneling. They then completed the renovation including installation of new carpeting in a very timely and professional manner. I had no issues with Restoration 1 Durham at any point during the project.
Do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration and lack of customer concern & care by shopping elsewhere. The store advertised a Disney Princess 4 in 1 crib / dresser package which we purchased. They would not give us even a $10 discount for having to take the floor model dresser which had some minor paint blemishes. We were told to "go to Home Depot and buy some paint". Then after being told that the package comes with all items necessary for conversion, they changed their story after incorrectly giving us the toddler side rails instead of the double-bed rails. We had to make the 80km round trip from Ajax to swap them and did they even offer us anything for our troubles ? Of course not ! After purchasing the crib / dresser package, we saw a sign in the store stating that if we bought a crib valued at $499, we would get a free crib mattress. After the floor manager promised the mattress to us, the store manager overruled him later on. When we swapped the rails, the store manager promised us that he would get back to us that evening regarding our disatisfying experience with them. Of course, he did not and despite several follow up voice mail messages, he still hasn't followed up and never will, because this store and its employees do not give two rips about customer service. Compare and contrast this with Babies-R-Us.com - we tried to place an order on-line but ran into problems with a discount code that would not take. Problem solved by calling customer service - rep gave us $15 discount for our troubles without us even asking. If the above was not enough to dissuade you from going there, good luck trying to move around in the store especially in the incredibly cramped area where all of the baby strollers and car seats are located.
