We read all the review before we choose this company,cause everyone gave comment, we strongly believe they will do a very good job.
It suppose to be a 3-4 hours job, they bring in my granite and found out 1 piece has wrong measurement that made my stove off center under the mircowave. They need to take it back and recut it. Came back the next day and install the whole countertop in 3 hours, then we found out they used 2 different thickness granite to made my L-shape countertop.One piece is 0.33 inch thicker than the other and that look so awful where it join together and seam is all chip not a smooth cut. And the countertop on both side of stove has different size overhang ,one stick out 1 inch the other side stick out only 0.5 inch or may be not even. The worth thing is they glue and finish everything without telling us this situation. We found out and the installor call his boss and my husband have to deal with him for almost an hour on the phone. Finally he agree to recut a new piece with same thickness and redo it to make it right. But here is the problem everything is glue and done, they have to cut the granite inside my house to take it apart. I just think if they tell me the truth, I will not let them to install it then I dont need to waste 2 days to clean my whole house after that.
They came back the 3rd day and finally I have my countertop that get done how it suppose to be and the new cut line is straight and not chip,the overhang all same and thickness is the same and it look good.
All I am saying is that is suppose to be get done right at the first place not after the customer find out then fix it.
All this company do is measure kitchen, cut the granite and install it.They didnt measure mine right and cut it wrong and install the problem piece and hoping customer don't realize it - that's wrong. On their website, they said they use 3-D digital template measurement, not for my kitchen , they use measurement tape.
Also, after they left, I found out the sink that I purchased from them has 4 big scratch on it. But that nothing I can do because it is a undermount sink.I didnt bother call them and mention that cause I don't think they will replace it(cause that also mean cutting the granite again).I guess I'm just not lucky.

This review definitely needs a reply. TorontoGranite.com is built on customer satisfaction and everything in our power was done to satisfy this customer. When the countertop was initially installed the overhang varied by 1/2". The reason for the difference is because although most cabinets are a standard 24", once installed they vary from 24"-24-1/2" from the wall. The countertops are cut at 26" and have a 1-1/2" bottom strip. The 1/2" gap between the granite strip and cabinet front is to accommodate for the fact that cabinets are not always installed directly against the wall.
Most customers are not as picky as this client and the 1/2" variance in overhang is acceptable. Nevertheless, to completely satisfy the customer we cut a new piece and replaced it promptly as they requested. They didn't have to wait a week or two but only two days until all deficiencies and new granite pieces were installed to their satisfaction.
We are human and we all make mistakes. Our apology for the mistake we made in one of the measurements and the short delay that caused you so much grief.
As far as the thickness of the granite goes, it varied by 1/8” at the bottom of the seam. This is an issue that takes 5-10 minutes to resolve with a grinder and polishing pads. It could have been fixed at the house if given the chance but you chose to send the piece back to our shop. This is was the reason for the delay to the third day.
Lastly about the sink, all you have to do is make a call to our office at 905-602-7077 and it will be replaced the next day. That's the difference between us and our competition. It’s just too bad that you failed to see that.
