Snow's Construction

We met Patrick at the spring Toronto Home Show, earlier this year, where we discussed the need to replace an existing skylight in our bathroom. The existing skylight was there when we purchased the house and the installation was a "MacGyver" situation where the original owner installed a skylight that was too large for the opening and just let the skylight overhang the opening, onto the roof. Although it lasted quite a while, Patrick would be faced with a bit of an unusual installation to make the new, appropriate, Velux unit work properly. Following a site visit and discussions, Patrick and his team came up a solution. They removed the old unit and came up with some new framing to accommodate the unit. The new opening was properly roofed in and shingled and properly trimmed and finished from the inside. They scheduled the work and stuck to that date and were very professional while on site. Patrick and his team were great to deal with and we would highly recommend Snow's Construction!

I hired Snow’s construction for a difficult skylight install and Patrick Snow and his team came highly recommended. After a walk through, I worked with them to finalize details on design of the skylight/framing involved and was impressed with the plan. Their execution exceeded my expectations! They were able to customize every request I had and the final product was awesome. Would recommend to anyone looking for true pros in the biz!

I put in two Suntunnel's. One in my hallway, the other in my bathroom.
The team was knowledgeably and efficient , not messy at all, cleaned up after themselves. They just did a wonderful job.

Patrick Snow and his team was highly recommended by Nels Moxness, the president of Velux when we shopped for our skylights. We were warmed that he is very busy that we may had to wait for the work to start even we were installing 2 skylights and 5 Sun Tunnels.
Patrick and his team started the project on the scheduled date; worked everyday during the construction; finished the project on targeted day; also cleaned up the work site afterward. What impressed me the most was their continuation of seeking improvement on every steps during the construction, professionally, efficiently. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship and the project in general.

Patrick and Gareth removed the old Velux skylight and its curb, which entailed digging through many layers of old asphalt and torch-down roofing: a really dirty job. They built a new curb and installed the new Velux skylight, paying great attention to insulation and water proofing. They worked closely and cooperatively with the roofers (HTR Duradek) and were cordial and attentive throughout.
These guys really know skylights and are highly recommended!

Very professional. Very clean and very respectful. I was concerned with having substantial clean up at each skylight location and their was virtually none. I wish all contractors were as punctual and good with communication skills as Snow's construction!
