Bedroom and sunroom renos

Celcon had all of the qualities of a great reno team: - skilled and personable professionals, kept to the schedule, maintained a clean workplace, communicated with us regularly, and listened to what we wanted. Highly recommend them.

Home renovation, Bickford Park Area

This was our second time hiring Celcon. In 2009 we hired them to renovate the basement (a big job including underpinning); they did a great job so of course we wanted them back. This time we had them gut and redo the main and second floors of the house. Chuck and all of his crew (Derek, Rob, Warren, Raymond and all) are friendly, respectful, reliable, skilled and serious about doing the best possible job. If anything isn't satisfactory, they fix it without argument. Celcon makes no guarantees as to the time it will take, but they do come in on budget. They are pleasant to work with and they did a beautiful job on our home. We look forward to hiring them again in a few years when we do the top floor.

Kitchen, Bathroom, Stairs in Cabbagetown Row House

Chuck Lunau and his team from Celcon made our first renovation experience seamless. For every issue that arose or any decisions that needed to be made, Chuck gave us solid advice that made sense from an quality and financial standpoint. For my husband and I renovating our first home, staying on budget was very important. Chuck never swayed from the original budget but if changes had to be made he would look to other areas where we could cut costs instead of assuming to charge more. Celcon's work is top notch and every person that he had working on our house was very professional and seemed to take great pride in their work. We were not living there during the reno - but still the place was cleaned spotless every night! We have since already hired Celcon again to fix walls in our basement and are using the Electrician who worked on our project to do some other work around our home. We have recommended Chuck and Celcon to at least 3 people and will continue to do so in the future.

Crown molding, electrical

Chuck is very accommodating and helped us with our many repair issues. When our last contractor left without finishing the job, Chuck made it right. Warren is exceptional; he is tidy, punctual, friendly, and he took it upon himself to touch up some of the paint on a wall where the previous contractor had left marks. He knew we needed little nuisance things repaired and noticed and fixed a loose faceplate without us even telling him. These guys give contractors a good name!

New home construction

An architect designed a striking contemporary house for us, built into a hill, passive-solar with many unconventional features - a difficult project to complete. Chuck Lunau of Celcon was the contractor, and must be congratulated for a beautiful end result. He is the consummate professional, reliable, organized, and knowledgeable about all aspects of construction. He and his crew are pleasant and impressive in their abilities; they do the job with attention to the smallest detail -- Chuck maintains very high standards. He is also scrupulous about costing everything out -- no surprises. The project was completed well, and on budget.
We have the highest praise for Chuck Lunau of Celcon and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone contemplating house construction.

Basement underpinning, renovation

Chuck Lunau and Celcon have spoiled us for contractors possibly forever. The first day, Chuck told me two things: that the estimate he gave us would be nearly exactly what it ended up costing us, and any changes would be discussed with us before proceeding (totally true) and that he made no promises on time (totally fair). From first contact to final day, Chuck and his team were nothing but professional, maintained an extremely high standard of work, as well as cleanliness and friendliness. We did a seriously ambitious basement reno - 2 feet underpinning, new bathroom, laundry nook, electrical, etc and everything was done to an extremely high standard. The only problem we had was the flooring (marmoleum), which we did with another company and they completely screwed it up. Even then, Chuck and crew were very supportive and tried to reasonable solutions to the problem. We wouldn't want to do any serious work on the house without him.

bathroom/laundry room renovation

We hired Celcon General Contractors to do an extensive bathroom and laundry room renovation for us, based on our experience with them previously. They were very helpful in guiding us through our options and what costs and difficulties would be involved with each choice.

We were very pleased with every facet of their work and appreciated their support and flexibility in design and finish options. They helped us transform a dreary, outdated space into a bathroom and laundry room that are comfortable and functional.

We have no hesitation in recommending Chuck and his team.
